“Bill Priebe has been an absolute delight to work with and my new roof looks flawless. Even though I'm not an expert, the craftsmanship looks top notch. B.P. Custom roofing was not the cheapest Quote I got, but just talking to him, seeing his work (more on that later) and reading all his raving reviews, made this an easy choice. I've dealt with quite a few overly salesy people running through their pitch for multiple projects recently and I'm not a fan! Bill was a pleasant change from that. He is a roofer, not a sales guy, even though of course he does his sales and this is his own business of 30 yrs!!! He takes great pride in what he does. And he's a straight shooter and answered all my many questions honestly. He has no illusions about the fact that for most people a new roof is not much to be excited about, it is just a massive expense that you just have to do as a homeowner. But you know what, I AM excited about my new roof and Bill tuned me in to some of the nuances. It looks great. It has some new venting that should help cool my garage and house. He uses my preferred shingles brand, Certainteed (again no expert, but I did my research aka.a bunch of YouTube videos and some articles ;)). We scheduled 7 weeks out which gave me plenty of time to get HOA approval. His team was on time, respectful of our house, cleaned up really well and damn fast. Shout out to Jesus and his crew!
There was nothing funky in the whole process and Bill went over every point in the contract with me making sure I knew what I'm signing up for! He kept me updated during the work.
With the quote he provides a list of houses his company has done with shingle type and color used. All over Orange County, so you can go look at however many houses you wish. He also offered to work with a potential Solar Installer if I go down that route to ensure they do the right thing and don't mess up his roof. There is really nothing more I could ask for! My neighbors already signed up with him as well!“

“I interviewed 4 roofers all recommendedby friends. Pacific Crest was the only company where Jay (the owner) and his foreman (Mark and Helio) came out to meet me in the first meeting. They answered every question, and as I had several questions in the process, they even came out more than once as a team. They were responsive to each question or revision to the bid which I found invaluable, because it is alot easier to change things on paper than on the actual roof when it's in process.

I thought I had an underlayment problem and was ready to tear off an entire section of roof but he inspected and determined that it was just a flashing issue which he repaired at far lower cost than I expected. He's a busy guy (this happened in late fall just before the rainy season) so I had to wait a while for the work to be done but once completed the problem was solved. Based on my experience, this is an honest roofing company that gives good value and will not try to rip you off.“
