For my fellow introverts, you'll be happy know that Kathleena is largely silent while cutting/styling hair, as she gets into a "zone" and is fully focused on her work. While she's a delight to talk to geneally, I am grateful for a quieter hair-cutting experience -- as a highly sensitive person, I've often felt overstimulated by past salon experiencesm which tended to include lots of music and talking (sadly often in the form of gossiping or complaining). Her salon is beautiful and her products are all very natural, meaning no noxious fumes!I am happy to have found such a wonderful stylist (and human!) and look returning to Kathleena for hair and makeup services in the years to come.“

“Jae is the hair care expert. With consistency, Jae will have your hair healthy and beautiful. My thick hair is now well into my back and I won't let anyone else touch it. As a busy professional, it is refreshing to have a hair stylist who is respectful of my time. She does not overbook. I really appreciate that Jae invests in continuing education to keep up with latest and best haircare options.

Hair type: My hair is naturally super thick and coarse. Jae has made my hair very manageable, conditioned, and soft. Now my blowout and straightening lasts between 3-4 weeks, No problem.

Stylist: Jae is amazing. She specializes in Hair Care. My thick hair is soo healthy and has grown in length since I became Jae's client. My hair used to be dry and constantly breaking, but Jae has brought my hair to a wonderful condition. Consistency and doing what Jae says that my hair needs was key. “Mei did an excellent job with hair and makeup for my recent wedding. I went with both the makeup trial and a day-of mobile studio option. I had never had makeup done professionally before, and wear limited makeup generally. Though the combination of trial and wedding makeup was pricey, I was glad that I did the trial so that Mei and I could chat through my preferred style more leisurely and that I could be comfortable with the plan.

Communication with Robert, Mei's husband and office manager, was straightforward and comprehensive. The day of, Mei showed up exactly at 6:45am as planned. Mei has an impressive mobile studio set-up, and was able to re-create the look well and efficiently. The makeup lasted all day and showed up great in photos, and I got a lot of compliments on my hair as well. Mei is kind and easy to talk with, and she was even so kind as to offer to help re-make my DIY bouquet to include some additional flowers I had on hand -- the end result was STUNNING. Highly recommend Mei for your event hair/ makeup needs!
