106 S Madison St, Waunakee“I've been seeing Dr Heidi and she is fantastic! I've seen many soft tissue practitioners and chiropractors and she is one of the best. The use of multiple modalities, doing just enough and not too much, has been great for me. My husband saw Dr Mark for the first time recently and felt like his experience was by far the best he's had with a chiropractor as well. I would highly recommend them both!“

8233 Forsythia St # 101, Middleton“My oldest daughter started about a year ago and has enjoyed every class since. The instructors offer high quality classes that incorporate the IMA standards in and outside of the studio. I was so impressed that I signed up too! I have some martial arts training from the past and they embraced that and work with me in integrating that into the IMA style! Karate has become a part of our lives now, and it is for the better. THANK YOU IMA STAFF!“

555 W Washington Ave, Madison“Literally the best gym and best trainers I have ever worked with! Like LIFE-CHANGING good. I am notorious for starting things but not sticking with them, but I’ve been here for a year and don’t ever see myself leaving! I work primarily with Amanda, who specializes in hypermobility/EDS (among other things). She has taught me so much about my EDS, and I am so much stronger and in less pain since I’ve started working with her. She is amazing at adapting workouts based on how I actually feel that day. She is sooo knowledgeable and a great teacher. She is also just really caring and supportive, and is great at celebrating your success. Lastly, I have had some really terrible life events happen, and Amanda, Annie, and staff truly went above and beyond to help me out during those tough times. You will never regret a day spent here!“

“I love the positive, open atmosphere at Pat's Gym. As a runner, I was worried I would not fit in. NothIng could be further from my experience. All abilities and types of athletes are welcome here.In addition to the invigorating atmosphere at the gym, Pat's coaching has helped keep me strong and injury free as I continue into my 60's.“
“Great instructors and great community. I’ve only been going for a month so far, but already feel stronger and more mobile.“
“Everything about this yoga center I love: the teachers and their depth of knowledge, the variety of classes, the plants, the natural light, the energy of the room that has decades of good yoga juju.“

301 S Bedford St Suite #5, Madison“David Laden is exceptional by any measure (healer, master rolfer, human being). The day I met him is a pivotal point in my life. I was suffering from massive abdominal adhesions that formed after abdominal surgery. The traditional medical specialist told me that if there was a hall of fame for adhesions, I would be in it. I was a mess. Adhesive tissues encased intestine and bowel and attached organs to my stomach and back. A planned minor surgery to remove adhesions turned into major surgery when a scope was inserted into my abdomen and punctured bowel attached to the stomach wall. The surgeons did what they could, but the adhesions remained or returned, making most movements difficult at best. Movement caused "adhesion attacks" that included swelling, organ twists, and intensely painful blockages. The traditional medical community cautioned me that any further abdominal surgeries would produce more adhesions, possibly leaving me in even worse shape, My doctors worked with me to discover a pain medication that was effective and would not harden stool as most effective pain medications tend to offer as a side effect. Very bad idea in my case. I also was sent to pain management therapy sessions (which I highly recommend for everyone who deals with chronic pain) and mindfulness training (also very helpful). I share my background so you understand my situation and why I was desperately going through alternative medicine techniques to discover something -- anything -- that promised to alleviate my problem. Most failed, but when I read that rolfers work with connective tissue, I thought it worth a try and scheduled an appointment with David Laden, the only MASTER rolfer in Madison at the time. I knew my situation would require an expert to have any hope of success. My first visit with David Laden was in the mid1990s. He started out gently and slowly in weekly sessions; now I just need to see him only once a month which I will continue to do forever. His skills have given me a much better life than I would have lived without his help. At first, I could tell that some of the adhesions near the surface were starting to stretch, giving me greater range of motion. The I realized that he was working on stretching deeper tissues. His work goes on, and so does improvement in my condition. We laugh, because he says he's known me longer than he's known many of his friends. It is a testament to the quality of his work in yielding healing results and to him as a very decent, caring human being. On top of that, know that my health insurance does not cover my sessions with David. He has helped improve my chronic pain condition by addressing the cause, something traditional medicine cannot offer. This has improved the quality of my life GREATLY and in ways I didn't dare hope. I GLADLY find the money to pay for David's treatments out of my own pocket ... all these decades ... a bottom-line testament to David Laden's skills as a healer. I highly recommend you see David Laden if you suffer from chronic pain, and I pray he will be able to help you as much as he has helped me.“
