I have always been wary of going to the dentist because of past negative experiences, and had been putting it off for some time, but I got a very positive recommendation for Modern Touch Dental so I decided to give it a go. Let me say, this is an incredible dentist office! The dental hygienist- John- was so kind and explained everything to me, he was so gentle and made the experience so calming and not stressful whatsoever! John showed so much care for me, and did not rush through the appointment whatsoever. Dr. Mccdonald was also extremely kind and reassuring and he went through my treatment plan with extreme detail. I could not recommend Modern Touch anymore- everyone there was so kind and my teeth feel amazing!

Have you recently been to a dentist office where it feels like you're on a conveyer belt, never see the same dentist or hygienist more than once and they have no idea who you are?! Well, DARLING DENTAL IS NOT THAT. Darling Dental reminds me of when I was a kid and your dentist is your dentist. I had a filling from another provider fall out and didn't want to go back to that office. Enter Dr. Darling! He took great care in explaining what he was planning to do and why before, during and after the procedure. He and his hygienist worked together like true pros. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and most importantly, not a in rush to get me in and out. I felt very taken care of and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to establish long term dental care in the North Shore!
I brought my daughter to this clinic to have her wisdom teeth pulled. She had been in pain for a couple of days and every dentist office I took her to, only milked our insurance or either wanted full payment up front. We even received a false report on what teeth could be pulled in an attempt to get more money. I ended up called the insurance company to get in network dentist (not sure why I didn't start here first). We found that Milwaukee Oral Surgery and Implants was in our network. We were scheduled the next day to have the work done. Dr. Elmquist was the assigned dentist who scheduled us outside of her usual schedule. This woman was absolutely amazing. She had such a calming presence. My daughter was bat scared, but her presence and reassurance on how things would go was so comforting. She talked her through it the entire process. Her assistants were in sync with her and it was just the best experience for such a painful situation. Thank you so much Dr. Elmquist for being who you are. You are an amazing human being!!! Best thing I’ve ever done!!! I waited to write this since having permanent eyeliner done in January right before having lasik and wanted to see with my corrected vision. I’ve been wanting to do this for at least seven years and when I decided to have Lasik, I decided to do this right before as you cannot wear makeup after you have Lasik for about a week. I reached out to Rosie and I am so glad I did because it is incredible. I only wish I had done it sooner! First, Rosie is the sweetest soul, but more than that she is an incredible artist that listened to what I wanted and made it a reality. I wouldn't change a thing. Every morning I wake up and look in the mirror and feel amazing. I had her do a conservative liner that is very natural looking yet gives me a nice look before I even apply any makeup. I love it!!! She did an amazing job. I had no idea what I needed for funeral flowers and we were cutting things pretty close. But everything turned out beautifully. Definitely coming back next time I need formal flowers.

I see Amber for regular massages, and she’s helped me overcome neck pain that I suffered with for years! What she does with massage and cupping helped me way more than chiropractors I’ve seen. Perfect blend of relaxing but also results driven!

I was new to the Milwaukee area and found My Pet's vet on what I call The Night of the Bloody Paw. One of my cats was periodically bleeding from one of her paws, and I couldn't find where.
This is an independent vet business, and I prefer to do business with independents because I feel like my animals get better care. I did call 3 or 4 other independent businesses before My Pet's Vet, but none of them were taking new patients. This place is a little farther away from me but they were independent and had room for new parients, so I emailed over the medical records for this cat and she was seen either that evening or the next. This was 2 years ago, so I've forgotten some of the details.
They found the claw causing this issue, treated it with kindness and care, and we set up appointments for my cats to get their checkups.
I have senior cats with senior cat medical issues and Dr. Beatty and his team have been wonderful at helping my furry friends live out their golden years as happy and healthy as possible.
This business does see all manner of pets beyond dogs and cats: guinea pigs, lizzards, rabbits, etc. I think there is only one exam room, so there are no long waits in a room full of other animals that could be distressing for the next patient. As of this review, they don't take pet insurance.
Other nice things:
They're very responsive to emails. They even do follow-up emails if your pet is sick, on a new medication, or something to see how it's going.
They have their own parking lot.
They have an ADA compliant wheelchair ramp and landing.
This business is in a house which is fitted for a business, so it has a comfortable, relaxing feel to it that both me and my animals enjoy.
My animals see the same vet and techs every time, and they are able to keep up on who they are and what they need.
This business works with other independent businesses if your pet has or would benefit from some medical care not provided here. The same cat from the beginning of this review received an ECG at this location from a traveling specialist.
Closing note: at the start of 2024 I adopted another senior cat. This one has hyperthyroidism and came to me with coccidia. I adopted another senior with needs because I felt I had the vet support I needed with My Pet's Vet. She's doing great now, too. ?

I was a recent widow. A dear friend invited me to visit Laurel Oaks. Now, I have made Laurel Oaks my home. Now I have many friends who greet me every morning at exercise, or the coffee klatch. We have excursions on the bus to museums and other spots of interests. We have movies, a poetry club, a book club. The meals are delicious. The people including the staff are all lovely. They are all my friends now.

This team is AMAZING! They are so friendly both to the animals AND their parents. I had to bring in my big guy yesterday for an issue I had never experienced with any of my dogs before. They were so kind and thorough and helpful. They explained what they were going to do, why, and how it would help. They even told me there were optional treatments on the invoice that we didn't have to do (I did them, they helped my buddy). I asked about preventative measures and they explained how this event could have happened. They really helped to set my dog-mom heart at ease!
After Tucker had his procedure, he greeted me in the room and then happily greeted his Dr as well. I was SHOOK and that alone let me know how well they took care of my boy. I paid less than half of what I was expecting to, AND they have a great refer-a-friend program. I'm so thankful to this amazing team and my roomies for suggesting them! As long as I live in or near Milwaukee, my pets are coming here!

Absolutely love this location. I don't live in Wisconsin full-time but every time I get a work assignment in Milwaukee I make sure to get the week membership. So clean, so easy, tons of equipment and even a sauna. Hallelujah!
Dr. McAboy and staff were very friendly and professional!, I had my wisdom teeth extracted and Dr. McAboy made sure I was numb and comfortable throughout the procedure, his assistant also noticed, prior to getting my teeth extracted, that I was nervous and comforted me and talked me through the procedure. Would highly recommend them.

With a shower torn up, I need someone to wash my hair and not get charge $35. Great clips no longer offers washing and drying thank heaven that Sport Clips does reasonably priced!!

I was very impressed with Dr. Spiedel and her nurse Dee Dee. Both were friendly, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They are genuinely concerned about their patients and in making the dreaded doctor visit as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend Dr. Spiedel. The receptionist at check in was very nice too .
