“I absolutely love Dr. Ivy, we have been clients for 12 yrs. Her staff is always pleasant. And they accommodate my families' need to be with our four-legged family members whenever possible (all the time). Most places make you wait outside and not be with your pet during "their" doc appt. I don't trust any doctor, human or pet, that won't allow you to be with them. My pet can't talk, so I need to be there to say what can and can not happen, and I know at times, time is of the essence.
Dr. Ivy to me is an old school doc. She tells you what the issue/s are, what she would do if it were her pet, and then let you decide what's best for your pet. I never feel pressured into a bunch of tests, (like some vets do) and the fact that she takes the time to call the next day ( ex: after surgery, dental etc) to see how your pet is doing...not her staff...she personally calls. To me, that's a person who is in it for the pet. My pets will see Dr. Ivy as long as they live or as long as doc is in business.“

“We have been patients here since 2017 and have had 3 dogs recieve care from Dr. Hoffman, Dr. Libby and Dr. Miller. Everyone from the receptionists to the techs and vets are extremely professional, caring and compassionate. We are always able to get appointments scheduled, timely responses and refills. Dr. Miller is very thorough and takes a lot of time to make our behaviorally challenging dog comfortable and always follows up with detailed explanations and resources for us to read up on.“

“I had the pleasure of working with Heather, one of the assistants. Today was a horrible day for me and she went above and beyond to make my experience a great one. I wish I could remember the doctors name because she was good too, but Heather truly made the experience fantastic. Super patient, knowledgeable, kind, understanding just overall an amazing person! I appreciate her compassion and sensitivity, I couldn’t have asked for a better interaction. They made sure my pup was fully taken care of, and all my questions were being answered, which I highly value. Sometimes the line can be a little bit long because this is a walk-in clinic, but it really is worth it to come here. I got there at eight, but I probably would’ve gotten there at 7:30! Just a little tip for future pet owners coming to the clinic. Otherwise, very happy and I now has less anxiety because my dog was taken care of with the utmost care.“

“We recently had to put our elderly cat Paco to sleep. Unfortunately our main veterinary only scheduled appointments via an app. Which was very frustrating. We called AHOF looking for an option other than our own clinic and it was incredibly refreshing to be able to talk to a vet technician rather than working through a phone app. Incredibly nice staff who were willing to work with us given our time constraints for a late day appointment. They were able to transfer our cat's medical history on the spot. Their closing hours are at 7 p.m. and the veterinarian stayed late to give our cat a peaceful end. Of course this situation may differ from our own. But if you have question's or have an animal in need of assistance I highly suggest contacting AHOF.“
