“My mom and I were victims of bad contractors. The shower valve in one of our upstairs bathrooms ruptured and ruined our flooring downstairs, half the kitchen ceiling and the adjoining bathroom was torn apart to fix the valve. Decided to remodel everything since it was all ruined. We used Google to find a contractor and, we ended up narrowing it down to two.There were several reasons we chose S&E Remodeling to remodel our bathroom and kitchen. First, Yani, the owner, offered to meet us at a local cabinet store to find the right cabinets and counter tops which we did. Second, his employees are his family and, he regularly supervised their work. Third, he would call us whenever he came by. Our contact was often and appreciated. Fourth, he estimated the work would take no longer than 3-4 weeks to complete. “We've had quite a bit of work performed by Garage's Etc. and always been very pleased. Don't let the name fool you, they do much more than garages. Initially they replaced numerous sidewalks around some of our apartment buildings, along with installing some gorgeous stamped-concrete pathways (including the "cobblestone" entry pictured). Lew has an excellent working relationship with the City and the process went incredibly smoothly. They also do interior work...I recently called Lew when we were in a pinch to get some work done ASAP and he came through with flying colors. His pricing is very fair for the quality of work they provide (he doesn't beat-you up with add-ons), and his team are all super professional. I don't give a lot of endorsements, but this one is one is very well deserved!“

“York added a dining area addition on to our house and remodeled the living room, den, kitchen, pantry, laundry room and primary bathroom. They added stairs to our deck and refreshed the Gaco outdoor surface.Julie Roland, interior designer, was fabulous helping us make choices about cabinets, tiles, flooring, plumbing fixtures, and many other design details.The construction superintendent, Jesse Nash, kept us informed and was creative in problem solving when we had to make changes to our design based on budget or structural requirements. We started the construction early in the year with the goal of being done by Thanksgiving and they met the goal as scheduled. The crew of carpenters were very professional and so were all of the subcontractors that York selected to complete the areas of the project that they didn’t have the expertise to complete like plumbing and electrical.The previous owner of our house had York build and expand the decks on the house. We liked the results and that helped us choose them to do our work. A design build remodel does take time from start to finish but we the think the results that we got with York are worth it. “We hired ProBuild for a large scare renovation of an apartment clubhouse. Alex, the owner, was on site regularly to oversee the project. He was always quick to respond, communicative through the process, provided helpful suggestions to save costs during the planning and design phase, and completed the work on time, per the drawings, and within budget. His team quickly finished any remaining punch list items.During the process, they cordoned off areas they were working in to keep dust away from open areas and never left the job site messy. “TLDR: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!I called All Purpose plumbing after having a terrible experience with another plumbing company that used scare tactics and sleazy salesman strategies to try to scam me into paying for unnecessary repairs. It saved me THOUSANDS and years of debt!Brian and Isaiah were very nice and actually listened when I was telling them what was wrong. They took the time to find the issue instead of telling me I needed to replace all of the plumbing in my house (which was what the first company said was needed). I saved 7k on a sump pump repair by calling All Purpose plumbing! The two gentlemen explained what needed to be done, showed me the invoice when giving the original quote and didn't try to pressure or scare me into signing onto the repairs without time to think about it. (A night and day experience compared to the 1st company I called!)If you have a plumbing issue, 100% this is who you should call. They're honest and won't try to scam you.“

“A long-time, trusted friend referred me to Bastaldi when we needed our roof replaced. She was familiar with their work, having had her own roof replaced the prior winter, and was very confident in their skills. After meeting Jorge for our bid, we were fully on board. The initial process was quick and smooth: we had a bid within one business day and the guys scheduled to start within a few days.We had a team of three guys come to replace our roof (full tear off and install) and they were all very polite and kind. Abraham, the lead, took his time to let us know their plan and how they would work. He even supplied photos as the work progressed to show us where the areas of damage were. His teammates, Nolvin and Sergio, were adept and skilled and within a day, the three guys had our old roof completely torn off and tar paper laid to protect the plywood from the overnight elements.The entire process only took three days where other, similar houses in the neighborhood took 4-5 days with different companies but larger crews! Abraham kept us updated on their progress at the end of each day. He even took a series of photos to show us their final work, which is impeccable, they even cleaned the gutters! The lines are straight, the flashing tight, the valleys feathered nicely, they even added a piece of shingle to protect any fascia boards that protrude past the roofline. The guys were meticulous in their cleanup and I have yet to find an errant nail or piece of roof debris (I’m writing this about 3 weeks later)!We have all new boots and vents, they inspected the attic for any evidence of moisture and for proper ventilation, we have ice and water shields all around, and best of all, the team is Certainteed-certified so we can sleep at night knowing our roof is protected by the manufacturer for many, many years to come.Hire Bastaldi.
