“Hi Def has a very knowledgeable team. Went with them knowing I had a lengthy recovery window post-op.Communication was great! I knew upfront the overall plan which set me up for realistic expectations on my progress. AJ also took into account how my shoulder was feeling that day or what my workout was for the day, and made adjustments accordingly. It wasn’t a cookie cutter template and I felt like he made the most of my time.Hopefully I will never have to go back to PT. However, if I do, it will be at Hi Def.“

Physical Therapy Dynamix Renton Physical Therapists

“I felt low back pain while I was doing a heavy deadlift. I literally could not stand up straight and thought I herniated a disc or something worse. I have really good insurance from my Google employer so I knew I could refer myself to whoever took my insurance. I chose PT Dynamix because of all the positive reviews it has and I will admit I was a bit skeptical a place could consistently get a 5.0 rating for so long. It turns out their service is so much better. First, my therapist was the one who contacted me after I had filled their online request form and I was able to tell PT Dynamix isn’t a number driven practice. I went to the Renton location because it was convenient for me location wise and I had 3 appointments with the SAME therapist. I got a very thorough evaluation followed by some soft tissue work and muscle energy to my low back muscles. I was amazed at how much better I felt immediately after! I received a thorough home exercise program which allowed me to feel more movement in my back and in two days I was feeling almost 100%. I went back for the following two appointments where I learned how to lift heavier weights safely and progressively. I was most impressed with the fact that I was never told I could not weightlift, but instead I was encouraged to do so and shown how to challenge my body even more. This injury was a blessing in a disguise and I feel stronger than I did previously. Lastly, the way they do medical billing is very transparent and easy to understand. I highly recommend PT Dynamix to anybody looking to stay active after an injury.“

“My name is Nathan and this is my story. In 2022 I hurt my back with an annular tear between l-4 and l-5 while carrying 80 lbs. of batteries. This was signaled only with a pinch and some heat but within minutes it moved into debilitating pain, and I had to excuse myself from work. I then spent the next 5 weeks at home unable to do most anything, even needing help to dress myself at times. After the 5 weeks I'd completely exhausted all of my resources, time off, vacation pay, and savings so I needed to do something. At this time my insurance would only cover 12 PT visits, so I did those with little to no gain. But it's all I had at the time. I went to my work and appealed my situation to them and they thankfully allowed me to work on light duty in a different position. I was still barely able to perform my tasks and certainly unable to do so without a back brace assisting me while also taking large amounts of over-the-counter medication in an attempt to quiet the pain I lived in 24 hours a day. However, even this situation was barely feasible and I had considered trying to find different forms of employment. I had even gone as far as to consider taking the offered prescription of (addictive) - narcotic pain medication for my chronic pain. And so I decided ..... (at my wife's insistence) PT was at least worth one more shot. So, after living in this condition for more than 18 months I found my way to Pain Science where I met Dr. Abby Hendryx. Over the course of 6 months totaling some 18 visits, I learned how to incrementally increase my range of motion while at the same time gaining strength. This was very necessary to reduce my pain.... The strength part. After being pretty much on your back for more than a year you'll lose some strength. I would like to point out the during these visits I had received different forms of therapy; some intended to reduce my stress and pain while others were intended to help me gain strength and resilience. I still wanted to know what was wrong with me. I was sure if I understood the mechanical failure that would illuminate a way out of my painful situation. To my relief Dr. Abby has on hand a large amount of information. The information she provided me helped to finally understand what was going on with my body. I'm very sad to report that there is no "off button" for pain listed anywhere in the educational material I viewed. No short list of simple actions will do this is something you have to work at. It's very hard to see any progress when looking at it in the short term. However, stepping back and looking at something after a month's work at it and you can see progress. Today I am mostly pain-free. I still have a lot of aches and pains and there are limits to what I can do, but I don't feel irredeemably broken! I know that I still can do things in life. I can still achieve my goals if only I reach them. There's hope for you yet. Good luck. -Nathan“

“I work in a very injury prone profession and have had three separate instances to use physical therapy over the past 25 plus years. By far my best experience has been with Tito and Danny at Atlas Physical Therapy. They are kind professional and definitely interested in your short term and long term health. They pushed appropriately but not too much. Tito uses an app that reminds you of which exercises to do on your days off, and I am still using the app even though I am released from therapy. Hopefully no future injuries but if I do I will definitely be seeing Tito, Danny, and their great support staff such as Jessie.“

They train and teach without limit and are there for the SUCCESS of their clients. It's the stronger together mindset 24/7!“

“Leslie is amazing. I had back surgery a long time ago and have been having some back issues recently. After 10 sessions I'm feeling better than I have in years. Rolfing won't 'fix' a back injury, obviously, but the work she did getting the rest of my body realigned and loosened up really made a huge positive impact on my body as a whole.“
