“When I arrived at the salon, Lindsay is so cheerful and down to earth. She offered me a beverage and put me at ease from the get go, asked me to have a seat in the chair and asked about any questions/concerns. She looked over my brows and asked what I am looking for overall. Then, she brushed up my brows asking if the shape looked ok, with a hand held. I decided to go with some microblading with a little powder fill, I was a little concerned about pricing possibly being higher but she said I want my customers to be happy and just charged me one price for the mixed service. Once we were on the same page she applied a numbing cream on my brows while she prepped for the treatment.The entire time chatting with me like an old friend. My entire process was finished in about 90 min, it wasn’t super red when I left but they did start to get a bit itchy but I just tried to itch around it. My redness cleared within a few hours, but your brows may look pretty raw immediately after, so keep that in mind.I cleansed my face carefully and added the aquaphor Lindsay provided a few times a day and within a few days my brows started to flake but nothing major and not super noticeable. Within a week, they had flaked and looked great. It’s only been about 2.5 weeks since my procedure was completed but I am completely happy and feel it looks so natural. My friends couldn’t even tell unless I pointed it out and they looked super closely. I highly recommend Lindsay, she will take care of you and treat you like a friend.“
“Before coming here, I've only had my brows waxed once in my life and I hated it because the skin around my brows got red and sensitive to the touch. After that traumatic experience, I vowed to never get my brows waxed ever again. I've been getting my brows threaded ever since. The actual powder brow seemed to take about an hour. As a redhead, I was worried about what color my brow would be. She matched my hair color with a slightly darker shade. The shape is great. “My partner booked us an appointment here as a quiet spa day for our anniversary, and frankly, I al so glad he did!! It was such a wonderful experience and the staff here are so kind and perform quality work!!The location of the spa is in a cute part of Des Moines on Marine View Dr. It’s perfectly situated in the touristy part but is also nice and quiet. Inside is immediately peaceful and welcoming. Staff greet you as you enter, and there’s a waiting area with drinks and candies available. There is calm music playing and yet the spa is quiet enough that you don’t even notice any staff or customers conversing unless you’re part of it.A feature that this spa has that I was very impressed with is that there are different rooms for each service. The foot spas get their own room, the nail salon gets its own room, etc. it helped create a private experience and for customers to be more present in the pampering.We were scheduled for a mani-pedi, and were able to relax in massage chairs with already prepared foot spas with oils and lemon slices. The staff were so gentle and precise while clipping our nails, trimming our cuticles, and removing our callouses. We also received hand and foot massages, and a mask on our feet before lotion was applied.The spa is definitely hygienic too because for the pedicure, a new package of tools was opened for my partner and I (we had our own) and disposed of. The tubs also had a lining to keep them clean.Another unique thing that I appreciate was that rather than giving us the pedicure and then bringing us to the area for manicures, they let us continue to rest in the massage chairs and gave us manicures from there.The icing on the cake for this wonderful experience was that I received a gel manicure and pedicure, and my nails still look new even after a full week of wear, which is to say a lot since I have a typing job and am very hands on with crafts and chores.I am thankful for the peaceful experience the staff here created for my partner and I, and I would recommend that anyone in need of a quiet spa day do the same.“

“This is the first place I have gone to get my lashes done. They have water and candy for you while you wait and are punctual. I got just a general style the first time during the full set. During my fill, I requested a more doll eyes look. Wendy did a great job creating a style that complimented my eyes. I have never gotten so many compliments. Prices are very reasonable as well. Be sure to not exceed the time limits listed when booking fills. I’m definitely addicted to getting my lashes done with how good I feel with them.“
