I love the variety if frame styles and colors that break from the same plain styles every other glasses store seems to carry (thanks luxottica) and the staff are very friendly, relateable, and helpful. They have nerdy local art up on the walls for sale and as a queer person who is genderfluid, I’ve never felt judged or been made uncomfortable by anyone there. They were so kind with helping me decide between what frames I was going to buy despite how long I take to make a decision (I shopped frames for several hours ?). Eye exams are quick and easy, and they even fixed up the fit and nose pads on my existing glasses for free. If you are in the market for new glasses or contacts you should definitely check out Eyedentity.“

14050 Juanita Dr NE Suite A, Kirkland“I just moved to the area and was nervous about switching optometrists, but this clinic is absolutely amazing! It was clear that all the staff knew what they were doing and are very good at accommodating my needs. I was able to learn things about my vision that my previous doctors had never mentioned, and when I asked questions (I’m always curious about medical abnormalities) I got in depth explanations. I also learned a lot about why my Costco glasses never fit my face correctly! Jennifer at optical was amazing for being able to find me frames that looked way better than what I had before with just a quick look at my face shape, plus she let me know why I had trouble finding good frames and how to hunt out the correct options for me in the future. Definitely plan on coming back here for future visits!“

11830 NE 128th St #1, Kirkland“Referred by an eye doctor, we brought our 12-year-old to Specialty Eye Kirkland for myopia treatment. Since Yolanda is a national anthem singer for the NFL, MLB, and NBA, she frequently performs on big stages, including for the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners, without wearing glasses. Given this, we had high expectations for her treatment. The doctor patiently explained the treatment process and timeline. During the first three months, her vision didn't improve as expected. However, we don't believe this is anyone's fault. The doctor has diligently ordered two new pairs of lenses for vision adjustments. We were pleasantly surprised when the clinic decided to refund the first three months of payment. We highly recommend this clinic to any child who is a good candidate for myopia management.“

They were able to secure the appointment for today where after a thorough review, Dr. Mi at PDR advised it was OK to travel while she arranged the surgery schedule to place a new intraocular lens. My granddaughter was thrilled we get to "hangout" together while her Mom & Dad enjoy a 2 week vacation in Italy.Great job Overlake Eyecare Kirkland office team!“
