1417 NW 54th St Suite 260, Seattle“Nancy was very kind and intuitive. This wasn't like the typical deep tissue massages I've had and enjoyed in the past but something totally different. But let me tell you, it worked just as well and she knows how the body works. I left feeling less stressed and more flexible in my neck and shoulders. I would hesitate to go back. The best art is she has plenty of last minute appointments.“

He was able to exert the right amount of pressure where it was needed. He stretched me out and it was very therapeutic. In addition, he is very nice to chat with. I highly highly recommend Scott as a massage therapist.“

5335 1/2 Ballard Ave NW Ste 2, Seattle“I received a "tech neck massage" with lymphatic soother, hot oil treatment, and craniosacral with Melissa. First, her energy was amazing, she was very gracious with me for running late and she was just full of light. The massage was incredible. I truly look like I dropped 10 years from the lymphatic drainage - I can noticeably see that many of my fine lines/puffiness have smoothed out. My hair still looks wonderful and shiny even after swimming/washes.Most impressively, I feel like I've dropped 10 years of pain/tension from my neck, shoulders, and chest. I'm standing straighter and my heart feels open. I deal with chronic pain from a bad car accident over a decade ago and this really gave me some relief. I'm excited to book with her again for a longer massage.“

8750 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle“Working with Josh Parafina at GPT Greenwood Office has been a great experience for a myriad of issues I have experienced over the past 2 years. I started PT In Fall 2023 with following a fall that sprained my ankle (which had been sprained before a time or two) and impacted my knee. I worked through these issues, increasing my ankle and knee stability while improving balance through the exercise program. During that period, I also addressed a flare of lower back and hip pain which I have experienced on and off for many years and learned to manage through his recommended exercises. In Spring 2024, I developed long COVID, after my 3rd infection with COVID. My post-exertional fatigue (crashes) left me barely able to walk around the block after being moderately active for years (swimming 2x week and hour long walks on our neighborhood hill in Greenwood and hiking occasionally). My heart rate would soar to 120-140s just standing at the sink doing dishes for 10 minutes, when that usually was my heart rate after walking up our hill. My Primary Dr. referred me for PT to work on reconditioning and the clinic she offered was not covered under my insurance (Aetna), so I reached out to Josh Parafina again from GPT to see if they could help. He was honest about not having treated anyone with Long Covid symptoms before but shared how he would approach my recovery with a ground up program with very gradual steps up in reps and level of difficulty while checking in frequently on how I was doing energy level wise after doing the exercises and making sure I had moderations to fall back on and signs for when to take breaks. I saw improvement in my strength and stamina build back over the 4 months we worked together. I appreciated that he asked lots of questions about what I could and could not do at work and in my life and to target exercises to get me back to where I was and even improve beyond where I had been before long COVID. He was a great listener and was patient with me, showing me the difference between how I was doing an exercise and how he was doing it, showing which parts of my body were trying to work harder while others we dialing it in. As a person not imbued with body intelligence, it was really helpful for me to learn these really basic core, squat, lunging and lifting forms correctly which may have been glossed over in other exercise programs I have done. They do initial, interim, and final strength/mobility tests to show your progress along the way which is encouraging. I highly recommend getting into to GPT whether it is a new or reoccurring injury or issue, their staff try their best to get you in as soon as possible. A great resource that I will use again if and when something comes up again.“

She is very skilled and professional and has really helped me heal after my neck injury. I have continued seeing her even after she stopped being covered by my insurance because no one else compares. Cannot recommend her enough!“

2208 NW Market St Ste 430K, Seattle“Most precise and custom massage I’ve ever had. The massage therapists I’ve had in the past just run through their routine without addressing my concerns. Elizabeth is different and goes straight to the areas of concern and provides her findings at the end of the session. My next visit is already booked!“

They take their time to understand why you're visiting them and are openly willing to work with you to target what's bothering you the most. I've had a knot in my shoulder for years and after just one session with them, I feel so much better already. Looking forward to my next visit!“

505 5th Avenue South Suite 3A, Edmonds“As a person with hypermobile joints and chronic pain, I was always recommended to try pilates but felt super intimidated! I chose this studio after reaching out to a few studios to find an instructor who had experience with my specific needs and ended up starting privates with Kristen. That was a year ago and I can't even believe how much my body (and mind!) has benefitted from pilates! I'm so much stronger and my joints are so much happier. Kristen is an amazing instructor who strikes the perfect balance of pushing me to try new things that challenge my limits, while making sure I'm not overdoing it or sacrificing form.
The classes are also incredible, and I LOVE that they're limited to 4 people so I always feel like I have support if I need it. Every instructor I've taken a class with has been so lovely and they each have different styles. Karla has really created a beautiful community of welcoming, talented people who are happy to share their wealth of knowledge. Very grateful to have found Woodway Wellness!!“

He takes his time to explain issues and what he will do, is patient, and even cracks some pretty good jokes. Megan knew exactly what I was talking about and isolated my problem area in about 2 seconds. It was relaxing but also deeply therapeutic. 10/10 for sure!“

1138 NW Market St, Seattle“Made an appointment on Wednesday and was able to schedule promptly on the day and time I wanted (which was a Friday around midday). They give you a 10% off for your first appointment, and I made mine 90 minutes. They take HSA and FSA, so I was able to use that to pay for the deposit and also use it pay after the visit itself. My masseuse was Courtney. I was a teensy bit late (well technically, right on time, but you're supposed to come early to do paperwork on your first visit), but Courtney was ready to take me back immediately, as soon as I finished my papers. She confirmed what I wanted, and it was an extremely consensual massage, which I appreciated. I often tell massage therapists that I don't want my legs worked on and they insist or push, but Courtney did not. She did some excellent work on my back and shoulders and arms, and explained what she was doing and why. I didn't feel like there was over- or under-communication. It was a very comfortable experience and I was already thinking about how I wanted to return to see her again before my massage was over. I left feeling refreshed. I also appreciated that my 90 minute massage truly was 90 minute and not less. The parking lot is small, but seems to be adequately sized for the business. I was able to park right in front of the door.“

Her massage space is warm and welcoming, which supported the overall relaxation I felt from the session. I highly recommend Guiding Star Massage Therapy.“
