Maru was so compassionate and stayed late to help me out on a Friday afternoon. She was sweet, professional, nurturing, gentle, and fun! I love my affordable hair cut and more importantly the experience! I will definitely recommend Maru and Salon de Joi to others!Other important notes:So many salons smell of perfume, plugins, and product. These things give me migraines. “I was surprised to find out there are 3 women who cut there. Renee was very professional with a steady hand. When she trimmed my eyebrows single-handed, not once did she bump my eyeball with her hand or the clipper. Nice old fashioned style barbershop with a twist of no old men cutting hair. They even still have the warm shaving cream and a straight razor for doing the neck and around the ears. My new barbershop.“
