Unlike most of the technicians from the national franchise I dealt with before (while doing routine maintenance), the technician who came (Mike) was extremely knowledgeable and competent. He was able to identify the source of the problem and resolve it.  I also appreciated that he installed a used controller to make my AC work until I get a replacement controller-- very considerate. “The only time I write a review is when the service is exceptional or when it is awful. The service that we received from ABA (Any Brand Appliance) and from AJ (our service technician) was definitely exceptional. Our LG refrigerator stopped working. We contacted a different appliance repair company to determine the problem based solely on Google reviews. The refrigerator needed a new compressor. We decided to invest in this costly repair. Unfortunately, the technician from this other company did not program the control board after the new compressor was installed. As a result, our icemaker stopped producing ice and there was a temperature issue within the freezer. Frustrated by these new problems and the lack of ownership of the problems by the company who installed the compressor, we decided to try ABA at the recommendation of our neighbor. AJ was our technician. He was polite, professional, extremely knowledgeable, careful, honest and transparent. He explained that the company who installed the compressor should have reprogrammed the control board. After he reprogrammed the control board, the ice maker started producing ice within 12 hours. Many companies will not service LG refrigerators, so we were thrilled that Any Brand Appliance would. The cost of the initial troubleshooting visit was $98 (as of 7/1/24). If you decide to proceed with the needed repair(s), the $98 will be applied to the next service visit. I highly recommend ABA.“

“Wow! David exemplifies fairness and integrity, doing the right thing simply because it’s the right thing to do. Another company wanted over $1,000, overcharging on everything, lying about part prices, and refusing to provide a receipt when asked. They offered countless excuses.

Enter David. We had been without AC for two days in the heat. David educated me over the phone about various tricks some contractors use to exploit consumers who don’t know how to fix AC units. These consumers place their trust in the contractors' knowledge and experience, only to be taken advantage of. Using fear and misinformation, the other company tried to make a significant profit.

David came in, educated me, and genuinely cared about ensuring I was treated right. He fixed the problem in less than 15 minutes for a fraction of the cost the other company demanded. Very trustworthy and straightforward. I believe in karma and Google reviews, so I will ensure both companies receive the recognition they deserve in my reviews.“
