“We have had Adelphi exteriors do many different things for us over a number of years from interior painting, to exterior painting of a shed, to gutters, to roof repair, to deck repair complete with power washing, sanding where necessary, and painting.<br><br>Adelphi had just replaced gutters and facia board the autumn before, so when a tree fell on our house this spring, we called and learned that they could do the entire roof repair as well as the damage to our deck. The roof was tarped in a matter of hours after our calling. While some work to be scheduled around the weather, all was completed in a timely manner.<br><br>Every bit of their work is done in a professional manner. “Matt from JGL came to do an attic and roof inspection after I found wood damage in my attic. I am an out of state landlord that routinely gets ripped off by contractors taking advantage of my situation . Matt showed up right on time and headed to the attic, where he explained what he saw and talked me through his inspection. After getting a $15,000 estimate from another contractor, Matt said my issues didn't warrant a major overhaul. Instead he provided much more practical and affordable alternatives. He even identified a couple of non roofing issues with my chimney and gutter that should be attended to. Bottom line: this company has integrity and will not fleece you with unnecessary repairs. They can be trusted and will be at the top of my list for any home exterior work that I need in the future.“

“From start to finish, this was a very positive experience and I love my new glass door. Moses was always incredibly responsive and provided the best price I received. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided great advice on my design, including the fact that the door would last longer and be stronger if the swing part of the door was attached to the wall and not another piece of glass. When I opted not to follow his advice because of the aesthetics of my space, he upgraded the thickness of the glass that would support the swinging door at no extra cost, which I really appreciated. Tech team was clean and professional. They noticed the scratch on one of the panels before I did and Moses was very communicative about getting it replaced. Great service, great product, friendly. “We had a leak and paid to have it fixed. Unfortunately it still leaked after they fixed it. When I called to have them come back they responded right away and sent the same person to fix it as he knew the job already. It was a little tricky where the leak was so understandable they missed it the first time. They fixed it right away and didn’t charge us. I was very pleased with their service and for making it right. Definitely recommend!“

“I had no idea purchasing replacement windows would be so difficult and expensive! It is impossible to compare windows between companies since each one has a different name and specs for their window. So, that leaves you with having to trust your salesperson. From the first minute we met Matt Dawson (owner), we knew he genuinely wanted us to be happy with our purchase. He brought out small window samples so we could see how they worked and looked against our home. He never pressured us and actually referred us to another vendor that was a cheaper option to repair one window. At first, we bought 10 windows and one sliding glass door. The install crew was on time, very detailed oriented, and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of the day. About two years later, we were able to finish replacing the remaining windows. What a relief for me to know exactly who to call! Matt and I did everything via cellphone and email. John (service) came out to measure the windows. He has years of experience and gave us some practical advice as we were evaluating which windows to replace. Again, no up sell pressure. The install went just as smoothly this time. Chesapeake Thermal has its own install team, which is trained on installing the windows they sell. This was very important to us, and I think a huge part of why the job was done properly. Chesapeake Thermal is a second-generation family-owned local business providing top notch service. Matt and all the employees were very easy to work with and professional. I know this is a long review, but stellar contractors are so hard to find nowadays! We are so pleased with not only how smooth the process flowed but with our new windows.“

“Miguel was the project manager and Alex was the lead contractor on my home project. We had new support columns installed on our portico and outside our kitchen bay windows. We added midway a reconstruct of our garage door frame work and garage door. Miguel was informative, adaptive to my concerns and was very hands-on making sure the crew had the right materials. His regular visits and our interactions were always positively informative. Alex's craftsmanship was topnotch. He always greeted either my wife or I with great positivity and kept us informed on his tasks for the day. If I had a question, Alex was attentive to explain immediately. “If you could give more than 5 stars I would!! After meeting several contractors we chose Nations Choice to replace our 30 year old vinyl siding with James Hardie siding. It was a huge job! The work ethic of Jae and his crew was admirable. They arrived at 7am and left at 6pm only stopping for a quick lunch. We are delighted with the finished project. Our house looks updated and lovely. They cleaned up every night.We also had 23 windows replaced with beautiful Provia windows. Again Jae and his helpers did a wonderful job. Very fast, efficient and professional.
