They get right down to business, they give you a fair price, they do a damn fine job, and everybody walks away happy. I can only presume happiness on their part as they don't smile a lot, but it's really none of my business who's happy or not. I just know I am (happy) when I pick up my fresh fits altered to my specifications. They do it with a quick turnaround and at a fair price. Everybody is a winner. This is the way capitalism should work. Not like those damn bankers in New York drilling the little guy every chance they get. Blasting away at you, ya know? You go to this store and you're rooting for the little guy. The honest man who just wants to make an honest living. And God bless you for that.“

She was so incredibly pleasant to work with that I was actually a little sad when the work was completed. “I am so glad I checked Yelp first for this request. My husband had torn the zipper of his pants and I was just trying to find someone to replace the zipper of the pants. I remember coming here wayyyyyy back for one of my close friend's shoes and this was (and still is) the place to go! Mr. Kim was so sweet and helpful with my request. His wife is the seamstress and made the call to ask if she could replace the zipper, ask when I needed to get it done, and if I wanted to pay ahead of time. Super easy - about 10 mins top. $15 to replace the zipper and great work! My husband didn't need a quick turnaround so I went ahead and took the week wait. When it was time for me to pick it up, it was easy to give him my paid ticket and get the pants. Looks awesome and does the job. Plenty of parking and you can't miss the shop. It's more in the strip and def worth it. I will definitely be a returning customer here!“
“The quality provided by Puritan is top notch. I brought some pants in to get hemmed and some shirts to get dry cleaned (one with water stains) and it was all done quickly and perfectly.That said, for a new customer, coming into this location was a little overwhelming and the staff at the counter seemed impatient when I interrupted their chat with someone not in line to be helped and again when I didn't know where to go for the hemming vs the dry cleaning. The intake for alterations was also very quick and cold, seeming more interested in getting me out of their way faster than anything else. My pickup experience for both items was a lot better, so it might just have been going in on a weekday afternoon that was the problem.“

“Easy parking, friendly service, the cashier even gave me an extra coupon she had at the counter! Now that's amazing! She reminded me that they also offer coupons on line and in local circulars for customer convenience! I saved a bundle without being "taken to the cleaners" so to speak! I got here just before 10:00 and my hubby's garments will be ready after 5:00! Super fast!! I brought in about 1/2 dozen dress shirts and about a dozen sweaters (getting ready for the autumn and winter season early!) and was impressed by the in and out swiftness! They offer free delivery and pickup with a $30 minimum. So far I'm super impressed! Thanks for providing RVA with a great service at reasonable prices! You get a clean bill of health!!“
