“I was a little afraid of chiropractic before I went to Dr. Ginger. She listened carefully to what was going on and made some diagnostic tests before she started. It has made a world of difference in the way my body feels! With a well, aligned spine, my whole body feels better! Every staff member there is kind and friendly, and the cost is very reasonable! I highly recommend!“

“I recently had about 10 sessions of physical therapy at Ivy Rehab for a lower back injury. When I started, I was having to limit my workouts and chores/hobbies because of the pain and mobility problems. Both Dan and Julianne were friendly, motivating, and tailored each session to my goals. They’re very knowledgeable and helped me regain a lot of my strength and mobility in a short period of time. The facility is clean and well-equipped, and the front desk staff is really helpful. It’s been 2 months since finishing physical therapy, and I feel stronger than before and also much better educated about preventing injuries and pain.“

“I would like to share my experience with the Sheltering Arms – Chester location. As soon as you walk in the door, you are in a positive space. Sandy runs the front desk. She is a stranger to no one, and welcomes everyone to SAI-Chester. She is the welcome committee, always there to help and always there with a smile. She helps me schedule my time with Lisa (my therapist and coach) so I can progress my recovery. Even when I struggle with the self-check-in process, I know I can always go to her for help. She’ll even call for a ride home for you if you ask.

I have several physical “opportunities” that sometimes get in our way. I spent 2022 in the hospital and Lisa is helping me by coaching me as I recover my leg strength and balance. She knows me well enough that she can look at my face and eyes and knows when I am struggling a bit, so she adjusts our plan for the day. She helps me focus and understand what the exercise is meant to do as well as how to properly maximize the effect. We start each session with a blood pressure check, as sometimes my Bp gets “wonky,” and she adjusts her plan accordingly. Working with Lisa, I know I am making progress, getting stronger, walking further, and plain feeling better about my physical health.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the rest of the SAI-Chester team – Hailey, Amy, Kim, AJ, and the rest. Every member of this team works to create a relaxed, comfortable, caring, positive place with the single objective of helping people get better – or as they say The Power to Overcome.“

“I have loved working with Dr. Casey. I'm pregnant and learned of F&F through my doula practice. I wasn't having specific issues but wanted to make sure I am prepared for birth, which I can say I feel very prepared for as I enter the week of my induction! As my pregnancy has progressed Dr. Casey has helped me so much! I didn't realize how interconnected our bodies are and the different ways she can assist. I was having some back pain at one point, like I could barely walk, and she loosened it up and taught me how to do the same at home. Then I got diagnosed with cholestasis of pregnancy, which is an issue with your liver and gallbladder that causes extreme itching. Dr. Casey mobilized my liver, gallbladder, and ribs on Tuesday and since then (today is Friday) my itching has been dramatically reduced. I would absolutely recommend being seen by Dr. Casey, she's the best!“

“The whole team here has been amazing! Very supportive while working with me. I could ask questions and they gave clear answers. I saw good improvement week by week. Goals were discussed at the beginning and met as I continued therapy. The facility was organized and clean. They were very good about cleaning all equipment between clients. The daily bad dad joke of the day always left a smile on my face. I would definitely recommend here for physical therapy if needed.“

“I recently began going here because of issues with my neck and lower back. The issues with my neck resulted in severe migraines lasting days at a time. I was a bit optimistic going in because I'd tried deep tissue massages from other places in the past with not much success. However, this place has completely changed my opinion on massages. This has hands down been my best experience yet. The level of professionalism, knowledge and dedication is refreshing. Alex is a miracle worker!“

“I have had two unrelated issues for which I've needed therapy and have had THE best experience each time with Sara Creger as my PT. First and foremost, she asks the right questions and she listens to her patients (at every session) so that she has all the information she needs to deliver the most effective therapy . Sara is kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and strong! And she has excellent awareness when it comes to gauging patient abilities and limits. I highly recommend Sara if you're in need of PT!“

“My Dad is currently going there for PT following a broken hip. EVERYBODY there is beyond OUTSTANDING, from the Front Desk Staff to the Aids to the Therapists. They have a Super Great facility, with a lot of equipment. His chart follows him from station to station, and whoever is nearby when his timer goes off, will help him to the next station (whether they’re his “assigned” aid or therapist). They’re all super friendly & knowledgeable. One thing we’ve noticed, is that when they tell you a specific exercise that they want you to do, they don’t leave it at that. Rather, they tell you why they want you doing it (doing this strengthens this to help you do that). We’ve both been to other PT companies that just say to do, with no explanation. Also, they give you your full time allocation, rather than just a few minutes. If you need extra rest breaks, they’re factored in as well, so you might be there more than an hour, to make sure that you receive all of the PT that you’re due. I’d recommend them highly. On the way home from the first visit, I told Dad that I’d go there the next time that I need PT.“

“I was especially pleased with Brandon Curry, the nurse who cared for my father. Not only was he compassionate and proactive in addressing my father’s needs, but he communicated regularly with the family. This really helped to put my mind at ease, as I work in another state. My father liked him, which also made a big difference. He is knowledgable, candid, skilled, and caring. What more could we ask for!“
