I strongly recommend Helen. She cares deeply about her patients and is highly effective. Her treatment plan helped me reduce pain and discomfort, and within a few weeks I was able to resume activities in the gym that I had not been able to complete for many months prior to my initial visit with Helen. Helen Shepard is the best Physical Therapist that Richmond and the surroudning areas has to offer. I've dealt with chornic pain and injuries related to exercise and sport, and I've been to other Phyiscal Therapists who have allowed me to regain normal range of motion and function. What separates Helen is her deep understanding of what it takes to get athletes back to lifting and their sport specific movements. Helen is amazing! She has been piecing me back together when I find myself with an injury. She not only helps alleviate my problem but then gives me exercises and programs to help avoid future injuries. She solved my 5+ year old knee injury & never accepted “it’s the better than it has been” as an answer. She never accepts anything less than perfect!
