Erskin handled entire demo, installation of new tile floor, enlarged shower, new toilet install, and drywall repair where old triangular jetted tub was removed. James did 90%+ of the work himself. “Metzger Floors did an outstanding job replacing an old tile floor in the hall (entering from the garage), powder room, and laundry room with a grouted luxury-vinyl floor. Everyone who worked with me and on my project were knowledgeable, courteous, professional and very helpful. When the workers took out the old floor, they found that the ceramic tile had been placed directly on top of an old vinyl floor and that the underlying floor board was failing. They removed all the damage, treated it, and then installed plywood to create a strong and level base on which to install the new LV floor. I am impressed with their attention to detail and the quality of their work. The new floor is beautiful. I have attached before, during, and after photos.“

“The sales person was great. The problems lie when they had two different estimates done for my house. The day the installers got here after a skid of stuff was delivered the week before, they told me the estimator put down the wrong product for underneath my cement tile for my kitchen. So I, not LL Flooring purchased over $800 Hardy back boards. The estimator also put in an order for all new base boards throughout my house that was NEVER discussed with me. I already have 8 inch baseboards throughout my circa 1915 house. I called about this and they sent me a check for $731.39 for all that baseboards and came and picked it up. Just not for 13 boxes of missing wood floors I had purchased on my original invoice that would have covered the room on the front porch (which is still unfinished) Nor the WRONG felt board for the kitchen tile. I have called and emailed the store SEVERAL times. I only was responded to the day of the job. I was Nice and polite. But now I am feeling majorly ripped off because I was charged more money for installation for my front porch, for the 13 boxes wood flooring I never received, for under the tile wrong flooring boards that are taking up space in my garage, 3.5 bags of grout, a box of a dozen white caulking that I assume were part of the baseboard robbery. NOBODY gets back to me. I suggest hiring a great tile contractor and ordering your tile through Home Depot or Lowe's. They both have a customer service department.“
