“LIsa has been grooming my dog for several years now. She knows how to work with anxious pups. Always great cut, and the dog smells great. Not sure where the ownership reviews came from, but even when she was undergoing medical stuff, the dogs were always well cared for and appointments have been honored.“

“I was looking for a new boarding facility for our two fur babies and after reading the reviews and speaking with Happy Cat, we decided to board our two young cats for a week and a half. I am always super anxious when we have to board our cats, but Happy Cat did such an amazing job that I didn't have to worry at all. When we dropped our cats off, they let us take them back to their room and get them settled. The staff did not rush us and allowed us time to make sure our cats felt comfortable before we left. Each room has its own theme with ample hiding cubbies, beds, toys, climbing wall shelves and plenty of windows. You can tell that Happy Cat Hotel carefully designed the rooms to allow the cats to be comfortable and to have an enriching stay.

During their stay, we received daily updates with photos of their adventures. We also opted to add the webcam, so we were able to check in on them. We got to watch the staff interact with our cats and they were always so kind and gentle - each staff member took amazing care of our babies.

If you are looking for a place, we highly recommend this place and have already booked a week stay in November for Thanksgiving. Thank you so much Happy Cat for taking such amazing care of our babies while we were away - we are forever grateful for you.

P.S. some of your staff members could become cat photographers. We have some excellent photos that I have now used as my phone background.

“My dog loves it here for daycare. The employees are always kind and take good care of my dog. With that said, there are a few things to consider for some before using this service for your dog - yes, dogs do potty inside but the smells are different there than at home. Yes, they will crate your dog if they need a break. I trust that if my dog is in a crate outside of nap time, he probably needed a break (he has 0 chill). Make sure that your dog is comfortable in a crate for their break times. If you or your dog aren't comfortable with that, consider looking into somewhere else. Also keep all of your paper work as contracts are subject to change. I made the mistake of messing this up and had a whole issue that was eventually resolved. No biggie. To sum it up, my dog comes home tired and happy which makes me happy.“

“My baby’s first grooming appointment with Tatiana was a success. She was so pretty with the bows on her ears. Her hair did get matted quickly, but that’s out of their control. I’ll definitely be back for another grooming session.“

“While visiting VA in summer, my Yorkie started making weird and scary noises (reverse sneezing) like if she weren’t able to breath ?. I immediately called Heart + Paw and after they listened over the phone, what has happened, they squeezed me in for a a check up. Dr. Jaclyn Erwin was very king and explained it was an episode of reverse sneezing. Not need to worry about. It wasn’t life threatening and it will go away with time. Next day the Dr. called to follow up my Yorkie’s episode and even helped with some tips for future episodes, if so. Heart + paw has a Super fast, friendly, kind a caring services. ? My Yorkie is doing great and she is ready travel back with me. ✈️“

“Super convenient location. Reasonable pricing for self service. I know this is a ridiculous observation since it is a dog wash but the place was completely covered in fur! It was floating in the air everywhere. There was no escaping it because aeveral big fluffy pooches were being dried as I was bathing my pup. I needed a shower afterward to get rid of my new fur coat. ?“

“They did an amazing job on my dachshund named Opie. The lady at the front desk was so very nice and personable. Bessie even told me that they thought my dog had an ear infection and recommended an ear solution. I could not be happier. I would recommend to this groomer to everyone I know!“

“Palisades Vet has been great. They have treated both of my cats very well, whether it is vet appointments, occasional boarding stays when I am out of town, or dental work. The staff is friendly as well. I know my cats are in good hands with the people there.“

“Usually I would not write the review until the service is complete (I pick up Miss Kitty tomorrow morning) but I just have to let the world know what a blessing it was that I found CKCR. Miss Kitty's previous "owner" died in March and her family could not take her in. We connected "by accident" on FB in June, and we've now been together, slowly adjusting, for just four months.

Meanwhile, after several challenging/failed attempts to get her into her carrier so we could leave for a building exterminator appointment, and after cancelling several appointments, I worked with her treats for a week and she walked easily into the carrier. But the appt was delayed four hours after I had already gotten her into the carrier, and we would need to be gone from the apartment for four hours after that. I was so worried about her being in the carrier for so long that I started crying, quite to my surprise. A dear friend suggested that I findi a boarding service so she could be comfortable during the time.

Thank you, Google maps!. I was so grateful to get CKCR on the phone. Bridget called me right back and guided me through the intake process, including making sure we had documentation of shots & spaying. I had her records, but not everything was clear at first. Bridget was so kind and reassuring, as I was crying on and off during the conversation. (Lot's of old feelings to process later on!) She also suggested several things, like a piece of clothing with my scent I could bring to help Miss Kitty feel at home. I felt so relieved.

CKCR is less than a mile away, and another dear friend was available to drive me and Miss Kitty, with Kitty meow/howling and me crying on and off! When we got there, we were so warmly welcomed by Bridget, who showed us Miss Kitty's "condo" and set it all up with food, litter, and the "comfy" items I had brought. I also saw a fabulous play area and she assured me that Miss Kitty will be fine and she will send pictures. I also watched as Miss Kitty tried to dash off when Bridget opened the carrier, and Bridget simply reached under her belly and guided her into the condo. I did not know how to do that! I am so relieved and grateful, and thank the Universe for this blessed gift! And I feel very sure that anything I add to this tomorrow morning will be nothing but positive.“

“Amazing experience I got my two boys groomed. They are senior dogs and have some arthritis in the back legs and some skin issues. She worked with and bathed them with a special shampoo for skin allergy. Also got recommended products for skin allergies and possible different diets for allergy sensitive dogs. She sent me pictures through out and updated me with anything I needed to know. Quick to responded and very timely. I recommend Anyone taking their time to do research on a good groomer to definitely take you dogs here. I couldn’t have had a better experience.“

“I took my 8 year old Crash for the first time and I loved it! Crash usually looks frighten when picking him up from the groomers but for the first time he was very calm and was enjoying being free roaming around the shop! Staff welcome you with open arms and are so very kind!!! I love the feedback they give regarding your dog if they notice anything is off with them while getting their bath, nails, ear or teeth cleaning. We will definitely be returning back!!“

“I've brought my dog here 3-4 times for grooming. I always make my appointment via text and Carel accommodates our schedule for dropping off. She always communicates when our dog is almost done so we have a 20 minute heads up when we can pick her up. The cuts have all been good and our dog seems well cared for.“
