“As a husky owner it’s difficult to find a groomer that has patience and knows how to handle huskies. Took my baby to get groomed and it was 10/10! Full grooming, bath, nails and deshedding and he came out looking amazing and happy. Hes a typical husky that doesn't like water or getting his nails cut but they were able to do everything. I recommend them for others fellow husky owners :)“

“I have my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Luna, groomed here on a regular basis. First off, the vibe of the place as soon as you walk in, is fantastic. Everyone from the owner to the receptionist is very friendly and pleasant to talk to. The place is clean. They do a wonderful job grooming my dog. She always comes out of her appointments looking very pretty and smelling so nice! I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate their talents. I highly recommend taking your fur babies here for any grooming needs they have.“

“We love Pawsh! I live on Capitol Hill but drive to Alexandria frequently because Pawsh is so much better than the options in DC. I used to almost exclusively use the self-wash option, which is really well done. There's plenty of space so the dogs don't feel too crowded, the tubs are high enough that it won't hurt your back, and they truly have all the supplies you could possibly need (including Furminators). Since an injury, my pup Arlo -- a giant, hairy, exuberant golden retriever -- has been treated to Pawsh Packages (a bath/blowout/nail trim service). Mary, the owner, has been incredible about making sure Arlo gets a super thorough de-shed, and he's always so happy when I pick him up. On top of all that, everything is fairly priced. Can't recommend this (locally owned!) business enough.“

“The best vet I've ever had. I went to another vet office in the area and the whole experience was very transactional and cold. I decided to try Companion Animal Hospital and I'm so glad I did. “Indoor/outdoor fun with 24/7 operations and nice boarding rooms that depending on your choice, you can get a room with a camera, window and TV. Larger suites that are comfortable for 2 dogs. They’re great at taking requests and if you have a concern, you can send a text and get a quick response putting you at ease. You get a verbal report of how they did and who they played with. Great add ons like massages, swimming, treats etc. My pups enjoy spending time here!!“

“I have been bringing my dog here for the past 9 years for and have always been pleased with their services. I never thought to leave a Yelp review until yesterday when I had to put my dog of 18 years down. It was one of the most difficult decisions my wife and I had to make and we didn't know what to do. Dr. Breen and her assistant helped us with making the difficult decision and everything was done with a quick and seamless procedure. It's the hardest part any pet owner will ever have to face but having them two there made it a bit less painful. My wife and I would like to thank them and I'm sure Romo would too. We are a military family, so we have been to six vets in four states - none of them come close to Harmony. First, the vets and techs at Harmony are amazing. “Doggy day - absolutely amazing. The staff and the dogs are just amazing. The staff are so engaged with all the dogs. They are so engaged and observe when things seem off with the pups.We are working with Tim (dog trainer) to help my pup and it’s so great because he does it during daycare, after hours and weekends and even comes to our home.Boarding - oh my heart. The citrates little bed and biscuits ever! Plenty of exercise, lots of play and was even able to get him fully groomed.I can’t say enough about the positive experience we have had with this place!“

“Old Bridge Vet has been our veterinarian ever since we moved to Virginia. They helped us through a difficult time with our dog Bella when she passed away earlier this year.
