I decided to try out Posey Pups after our previous groomer, Bessie (at Bessie’s Grooming), got weirdly aggressive with us after her husband got attacked by a dog mid-groom (not our dog, but it felt like she was punishing everyone for one owner’s mistake). Posey Pups is $150 (before tip) for my “Bernedoodle” to get a bath & groom, and it takes about 3 hours, and they do such a great job! As someone who had never had a “doodle”/poodle mix before, they were kind and patient with me (instead of condescending and judgmental) in teaching me about caring for my dog’s daily brushing needs.My dog, Chestnut, is 80+ pounds and is still a puppy. When Loyal Companion closed we were so sad to lose our groomer. But we found Posey Pups thru a friend and they’re great! They have competitive pricing for very high end groomers. After two of our favorite groomers moved on, we were again left to start over with a new one but Ellie is amazing! Our Cavapoo gets very anxious at the groomer but Ellie was very gentle and caring. We really appreciate their patience and understanding. 100% recommend if you’re looking for high end grooming services.

I’ve been taking my dog Cammie here since they first opened and we’ve had such a great experience! She always comes out with the exact haircut I like, they’re quick (she gets anxiety at the groomers and our old groomer took an hour longer), and sometimes they send photos of her getting groomed which I love! The owner is super friendly too. I highly recommend!
