Don refinished 4 antique plank bottom chairs and an antique tiger maple drop leaf table that has been in our family for over 125 years. His finished work was magnificent and completely recaptured the beauty of the original wood. His price was very reasonable, and the work was done in a timely manner. Once he had the chairs in the shop and initiated the refinishing process, he recommended that all chairs be reglued. He informed us of the recommendation, along with an estimated price which we readily agreed to. He also informed us fully regarding what was required, what processes he used, and the recommended care of the chairs and table to maintain their beauty. Additionally, he picked up and delivered the table and chairs. I’ve used Cesario @ C&N construction for projects at my home including a back patio, firepit and they just finished my front walkway in beautiful flagstone. I’ve been using them now for 14 years and they are the very best and wonderful to work with. The quality of the work is undeniable.
What's not to like? The ladies here spend a great deal of time to cut your hair nicely. And they follow up with a hot towel on back of your neck! All for a measly $22. Highly recommended.
They offered a price that was a few hundred less than another company who has many good reviews and much more less than a couple other quotes I got which were completely ridiculous. They delivered the correct material ordered. I built a deep refrigerator panel which was in place for final measure and template, but they showed up with a piece for a shallower depth fridge panel that had a partial roundover and installers had to cut it down to make flush. I should have told them to just leave and and cut it myself because the cut was done with a grinder and did not turn out perfect. I really wanted that particular cut to be flush and perfect because it meets a wood panel with no tile or backsplash to cover edge. The installers were in a rush and kept trying to leave when I noticed some fabrication issues that required correction. There were several spots that did not get polished out correctly during fabrication and a couple small scratches that could not be resolved. They tried to fix the issues very fast and it seemed to look better after the fix but my eyes are aging and I am not entirely positive that it absolutely perfect. The owner assured me this expensive quartz material would be more durable than the old black galaxy granite, but I am already noticing scratches from the dog trying to get to food and the black galaxy actually seems to be a little harder material after all so I am not sure how the Cambria will look after 20 years compared to the granite it replaced. I thought the quartz we chose was some of the most durable material you could buy from my research and the owner's advice. This is not really their fault, I am going to contact Cambria and see what they say about the scratches. I was going to try and use their services again for some vanity tops that I need because they offer very good pricing, but they seem to be out of business all of a sudden. I would recommend them because they have the best prices, but make sure to closely inspect during installation because their workers seem to go really fast and might not be the best quality, hence the low price.

What a find! We have an old steam boiler and similar to another reviewer, found Foley Mechanical through a recommendation on HeatingHelp.com. We've had several different companies service the boiler but Foley is next level. Brian was fantastic and due to his excellent work, we now have whisper quiet heat v. loud banging, clanging heat. We know we're on borrowed time with our current boiler, but Foley & Brian have given us more peace of mind than we've had in a while. And that, is priceless.

Had a good time getting my hair done at Wittney Madison Hair Gallery yesterday. I got my hair cut (at least 5 inches off), since I wanted a different look. I had wanted a platinum white color, but it came out more of a platinum blonde, which was ok too, I just wanted something different, and I got it. The staff was very kind and courteous. The salon is clean and inviting. Overall, I enjoyed myself, the staff and the service.

I did Cool Sculpting (1 treatment) in conjunction with 8 treatments of EM Sculpting on my upper arms.
I had taken pictures and measurements at home. Unfortunately, I have not seen one inch of difference on my upper arms (it has only been 4 weeks). I understand I still have another treatment of Cool Sculpting next month and it was explained to me that it may take up to 16 weeks to start seeing the difference.
I am hopeful to see results! I will update this review with before and after pics in October.

I needed to finish my deck's electrical work and contacted several electrical companies for estimates. Kolb was able to provide a FREE estimate, which some others would not. Estimator Juan Eizaguirre of Kolb came to my house and looked over the area and helped determine the best placement for the new outside outlets which were incorporated into our deck lighting scheme. He also evaluated a faulty light switch in the basement. He provided the estimate the same day via email. Our family was going to have a party within a few days of the estimate, and we needed the work done before then if possible. Juan was able to make that happen. Electricians Francisco and Gerber arrived at my house and were able to get the work done safely and efficiently. They answered all my questions during the process and were attentive and personable. They hooked up my existing deck lighting and tested everything to make sure it was working properly. And they changed out the faulty basement light switch as well. They were simply the BEST. Flooring Experts did a full demo and replacement of our hardwood floor in an open kitchen/living area of our condo in DC. The project manager was involved from start to finish, including in person meeting to select materials, overseeing the start of the project on day 1, and checking in on the finished install. The work itself was done very efficiently; over the course of two days the entire floor was installed. The team was very careful with all our home goods and even helped moved the heavy furniture back in place at the end. I am very happy with the craftsmanship, communication, and quick turnaround!

Bottom line: if I wanted to dig out another basement and turn it into a fantastic living space, these are the guys I would call.Eddie and his team transformed the crawl space under our house into a well-crafted finished basement. After underpinning and extending the foundation (6 additional feet), they poured a new floor, built a laundry room, full bath, staircase, and living area that we now use every day. Their minimally invasive approach was impressive (the opinion of a friend of mine who is an engineer), which allowed us to stay in the house during construction. It was painstaking work and they handled it like professionals, going above and beyond to ensure everything was timely, done to code, and constructed with great care. Their price was more than fair, and their consistent communication relieved our anxiety about taking on a project of this size and made it easy for us to adjust to unexpected issues as they arose (which they always do in a massive remodel). After reaching out to a few companies for quotes on replacing our old deck and stairs with hardscape, we decided to go with J&J and we are very glad we did. James did an excellent job communicating with us, and worked hard to create the perfect design. When it came time to actually do the work, the crew was hard working, respectful of our house and neighbors, and did excellent work. We are very happy with the hardscape and lighting that J&J installed for us and would definitely use them again down the line for any future projects.

A wonderful theater venue in the DMV! Only frustration is the lack of signage on campus, which made it hard to find the theater. Other than that, extremely cool space!
