They have been SO patient with him and have really worked to make his experience with grooming more positive. As an added bonus, he always looks great after grooming day. Highly recommend!“

“I needed an emergency appointment since my dog was having symptoms and was not eating. Our regular vet was not available that day so I called countryside animal clinic. They gave me a same day appointment and Dr Valentino and her team very fantastic with my dog and with me as a pet owner. Dr Valentino did some labs right away that helped her diagnosed my dog’s condition and to provide a treatment plan. I am very grateful for her professionalism and her knowledge. “I foster dogs for a local rescue that has a relationship with JAH. Sadly one of my elder pups had bladder cancer and declined very rapidly. Dr. Johnson squeezed us into her busy schedule for euthanasia the same day I contacted the office. Throughout the process, she was so caring and we never felt rushed. Our sweet pooch passed very peacefully. A few days later, I received the kindest sympathy card with notes from the staff and Dr. Johnson. When I get my next dog, I'm seriously considering taking it to Dr. Johnson even though there are many other vets closer to me in Arlington. The staff are equally kind and personable and remember patients even after only a single visit. This practice is a treasure.“

“We had a positive experience with Pender Pet Retreat while preparing documents for our dog under the new CDC rules for bringing pets from overseas. Special thanks to our coordinator Mike—I have no idea what I would have done without his knowledge and guidance. He was incredibly patient and thorough, walking us through every step and ensuring everything was done perfectly. After revaccination, we picked up our dog the next day, and he was happy and in perfect condition. Thank you!“

“Very nice and accommodating! Staff are understanding and their policies are very reasonable. As someone with a dog that doesn't play well with other dogs I'm glad they have options for care that don't involve group playtime, just communicate with them about your dog's behaviors. One thing to be aware of: if your dog uses a gentle leader (over the muzzle headgear used during walks to reduce pulling), make sure you communicate when it should be used. We dropped our dog off wearing her gentle leader (since she was on a leash), and it seems they didn't take it off of her during her multi-day stay, so she had scratched at her face a lot. I understand it was a communication issue and likely a policy to not remove gear unless instructed, so just make sure to explain!“

It easy to make an appointment or reschedule if needed. Dr. Munzig has been my pups primary vet and has helped through dealing with his severe allergies. She is easy to talk to and non-judgmental. “My dog has some medical issues and separation anxiety (arguably both of us). I needed to travel for the weekend and wasn't able to bring my dog with me. Old Towne Pet Resort (OTPR) put all my worries at ease. From a tour of the facility with their director (Robin) to convenient after hours/early morning check-in staff (Joanne and Noah), and their webcam suites, OTPR checked all the boxes. The aforementioned staff are the GOLD STANDARD when it comes to expectations for pet care. For most of us, our dogs are more than pets and better than blood relatives, so entrusting their health and well being is super important. I'm grateful that OTPR has a wonderful staff and facility that I know my pup is in great hands if I ever need to board him again.“

“Sulleys is a 5 star go to ! I drive 1hr and 10 minutes to get there and it's worth it. My dog had surgery and couldn't do stairs as I have 15 outside my door no elevator it's a old building. Jess is a angel she took care of my dog Noka and supplied darling pictures everyday. Took my stress away. All meds were explained to me and even called to check on my fur child!

“Dr Mitchell and her team are just fabulous! She came highly recommended by my friends and colleagues, many who have been with her since she opened Animal Medical Center. She is very methodical in her approach to everything (rather than people who say you need every test on the sun) and Dell was so relaxed being AT a vet's office he fell asleep on the tile floor!

WE got test results in under 24 hours and were able to schedule a necessary ultrasound (recommended by previous vet; didn't want to take him to VCA) within a weeks time.

Dr. Mitchell and her vet techs take the time to discuss things with you rather than making you feel like you are on a hamster wheel time wise - of course we come prepared with all records and believe in partnering with our providers which means being prepared to make good use OF their time. “I moved to Dog Tales after our previous daycare got so big and impersonal. They kept raising rates and charging fees for everything. After calling five daycares on the phone to make inquires, Dog Tales was the only place that sounded inviting, caring, and friendly from the moment they answered the phone. Upon going for the first time, and all times after, the staff are always very accommodating, friendly, and they all know my dog's name. It is not the newest facility out there, but what they don't have in image they make up for in attitude and genuine caring for pets and their owners.“

“Update 2024: the price has increased crazily, like a fecal test or a wellness visit took me $90+ a few months ago and just a few months later it's $103 or $105. The staff are not as friendly as before especially for today's visit. It's such a disappointment given that we insisted on using CAH for both of my lovely cats even after we moved out of this area, which takes us 30mins+ drive from our new place), but now I think it's time to change.
