“We started losing hope of building our dream home after talking to several builders in McLean/Bethesda/Potomac area and going through arch design and pricing until we met Botero Homes. Other architects/builders 1) were not getting our vision and 2) unable to design and price within our budget. After 10 months of negotiations with other builders, luckily we found out about Botero Homes.We first spoke to Mr. Ihab Mogassbi, the president of Botero Homes LLC. He walked us through their process with full details and met us the next day to give us a tour of one of the under-construction homes. We got to see the quality and high standards they have for their building and construction. We decided to sign the initial design and pricing. That was the best decision we made. Mr. Ihab is very friendly and extremely professional at the same time, reasonable, super proactive and very respectful to his staff and customers. He is very patient and made the process very easy for us.The architect, Mr. Naresh Sharma, is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience in designing different style of homes. He listened to us and understood our vision. He designed a beautiful contemporary home which fits all our needs and wish list. Mr. Naresh is a great listener and was extremely patient with the amount of changes we requested :).Mr. Ihab, Mr. Naresh and all Botero staff think and work from the customer standpoint. They understand that they are building the home for the customer ( which I didn't experience with other builders), they help and provide guidance but not pushy about home design and specs, they respect the process and everyone is patient with us. It is the positive culture that Mr. Ihab has built in his company and leads his team by example on a daily basis . “I received several kitchen remodeling estimates and SkillsDesign was the only company that suggested rearranging the layout which then allows me to have standard or full size appliances, instead expensive nonstandard sizes. So for less than the cost of the difference between a special size dishwasher and a standard size dishwasher, they suggested to rearrange the footprint and than my door would come out to my back porch, essentially adding square footage to my tiny house. It was brilliant. I was in surprised no one else suggested that and I just got an overwhelming feeling that they cared and I feel that is not something you find very often anymore, a company that cares and SKillsDesign does and it’s a local family owned business. Unfortunately I’m not in the area, so I was sadly only able to use them for the designing, but it was well worth it. I also have a very small space, so they took the time and designed every single cabinet to my specifications. The communication was excellent and they were always on time and if you’re lucky enough to live in the area, I would highly recommend using them for any and all remodeling projects as they have many talents and can turn your remodeling project to something that will blow away any and all competition. “I've used Progress Kitchen and Bath services a few times and have always been pleased with the results. We had them remodel one of our bathrooms last year, and this year, when we needed another bathroom remodeled, we called them again because the first bathroom they worked on last year was so excellent. We appreciated dealing with their team because they were consistently on time, kept their workspace spotless while they worked, and were very accommodating when we needed to make modifications after the work had begun. “We first hired Beyond Design and Luis Silva to complete a basement renovation on our house. We were ecstatic with the results -- our basement quickly became the most popular place for the family. Luis's attention to detail, competitive prices, and high quality work convinced us that we have found a real treasure. It is difficult find excellent contractors. In Luis and Beyond, it is more than that. For both design excellence and quality of execution, we are so lucky to have Luis's partnership on making our house the home we always wanted. Luis told me early on that he treats every home as if it was his own house. This sounds like a platitude, but it really is true. Even though he is the architect/owner, Luis was at our home every day to ensure that all of the million small details which go into a renovation were done properly. Luis also remained flexible, ready to respond to our needs even as they changed throughout the project. He remained patient with us throughout the process. Our neighbors were pleasurably amazed at the transformation of our home and how the updating was executed to seamless effect. To us, Beyond Design was that rare firm which could blend exemplary artistic vision with the ability to get things done (at the quoted price and on time). As a side note -- I never post on Yelp and had to register to do so just to share this review. I did so after seeing the one unfair and bizarre negative review posted on this company. Due to a series of factors, I know the poster -- and he was never a client of Beyond and Luis. I do hope that his idiosyncratic ramblings don't have an impact on a great company and architect, and that this individual finds the peace he needs. I have recommended Beyond to others in our neighborhood, who in return told me about their excellent results. Those few who are able to hire Beyond (they are a small company who accepts a limited clientele) will find a dedicated staff, a visionary design, and a happy outcome which changes a simple domicile into something they are truly proud of. Honestly, I wish that for everyone. Beyond and Luis can deliver it, as they're shown time as time again.“

“Anthony, provided a super customer service. His designs are absolutely unmatched by any others, I know this cause our experienced with him on his 2020 designs are absolutely gorgeous. Very high in detailing unlike other places that you would go to and they would give a simple black and white layouts which doesn't tell us much on how it feels to be in your future kitchen. Anthony so good at his designs that even 2020 design company had asked him to help them with future updates. His pricing in designs is a little higher however it was well worth it the dollars spent to feel the outcome of your kitchen before they even start the project. We highly recommend him.“

“Just completed a cabinet project with Mr. Faux. An estimate was provided the same day I inquired, with no visit necessary. We were able to begin work within a few days of accepting. Cabinets were taken off-site for prep and painting. I enjoyed not having to deal with the dust in my home and the final finish on the cabinets was flawless. Removal of doors, priming and painting of the frames, then return of doors took 5 visits. Mr. Faux was flexible with my work schedule, as well as working around other upgrades we had going on in the kitchen. Workers were friendly and very neat. The project was completed in less time than estimated and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!“
