“Sunday my 11 year old dachshund seemed to have a UTI. My regular Vet was closed. I called Glenkirk and they said to bring her in and she would be seen immediately. Dr Naqi and staff were friendly, competent and took care of her with professionalism. She has a UTI which was found by urinalysis. We left with a full, 2 week Rx. I thought their fees were normal and reasonable. The staff was very compassionate as I was stressed. Many thanks to each person ? *They also called Monday morning to ask how she was doing!“
“I got a 6-week old baby Kitten 3 days ago and called in on Monday, got a same day appointment, and got my Kitten all squared away. Entire staff was friendly, professional and loving as can be with my Kitten. I am happy I found them. Best vet hands down.“
“As usual the staff and DVM Brown were friendly and professional. I have coming here for years and recommend them all the time.“
“Let me be the first to say that my dog is more than most people can handle, medical professionals included. I got my Belgian Malinois when he was 8 weeks old, and went through 4 different vets that couldn't manage to give him his vaccinations. Either he was too "aggressive" or "squirmy". Then I found Pawsitive Care! Caesyn has been coming back ever since. The staff are always kind, caring, and courteous. No matter what I need, when I briefly moved to New Mexico the staff provided me with a copy of his complete file in no time, they are truly the best. The vet always asks if I have any concerns or if I've noticed any strange behavior and addresses my concerns kindly. I'll never go anywhere else, I refer everyone I know here!“
“I and my husband have been a client of Dr. Swanson for at least 30 years. My husband passed away in 2015 and I have lived alone with the 3 dachshund dogs we bought when they were 8 weeks old.
We began bringing our dachshund’s to you when your office was across from Jimmy Phillips. Remember the lady who bought the cat in she found on the side of the road. It was injured and very sick looking. You were sooooooooooooooo
Mad ? saying why do all these people bring these road animals in…”Who’s going to pay for the work I have to do”
One dog passed about 3 years ago due to kidney failure and I still enjoy the company of the 2 females.
They are about 12 years old and recently they became ill with a “coughing wheezing” sound and have trouble breathing. Overnight they turned from active happy dogs into barely eating or moving around.
Now on a very limited income I called Dr. Swanson and asked if he would do a health check on my
dogs but I could not afford to pay for it.
He refused and I understand that. He wants to be paid for the service he renders.
A 30 year client may have been offered a payment option from someone with a heart ❤️ .
I could not have been more disappointed.
I’ve always felt you had a cold heart ❤️ BUT NOW I KNOW!!!!!“
“Dr. Gillespie and his staff were wonderful in taking care of our baby (Toby-cat). I was not going back if the prior DVM was still there. It was wonderful working with the new medical director. Everyone was kind, efficient and competent. They are a fantastic local veterinary service.“
“Community Critter Care (Dr. John Magerkorth) is the best veterinary practice I’ve ever worked with. The entire staff is so caring and patient with my pets. Dr. John goes above and beyond to explain everything (and he has a great sense of humor.) You can really tell that they are in veterinary care because they truly love all animals. They have been wonderful with both my dog and cat.“
“With every horse we’ve taken to Dr. Allen and Dr. John’s, we’ve received a prompt and thorough diagnosis! Because of VEI we have avoided “ going down the rabbit hole” to get a diagnosis! The staff is welcoming, professional and accommodating! I am so grateful and thankful, as are my happy horses!“
“My normal vet wasn't able to see us today for an emergency case of kennel cough. The receptionist was wonderful in accommodating same day and also calling over to our other vet to get records. Dr Morrow and her assistant were incredibly compassionate, and thorough. I highly recommend this office. We will be switching to Dr. Morrow moving forward as we were so pleased.“
“Dr. Morrow is simply great! The staff care very much about your pets. We have been clients for about 20 years now and couldn’t be happier! Thank you to everyone there!“
“We've been taking our dog to Caring Hands Bristow for four years and they are wonderful. They are knowledgeable and thorough with both acute and chronic issues and always take great care of our Liberty.“
“We love Dr. Chang and his staff. They are patient and knowledgeable. The staff is so friendly. Prices are great compared to other Vet clinics.“
“On one of the hardest days of my life so far, I was met with genuine compassion and support from the staff here. Although this was my first time visiting the practice, they made us feel like family and were so gentle with us as we had to put down our Blake ❤️. I regret that I cannot recall the names of the vet & techs that helped us, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for us and our baby boy. I know where we are taking the rest of our babies.?After looking at the staff on the website, I know it was Dr. Drape and the tech was Hope. Thank you both so much. ❤️“
“Dr. Martinez was very kind and patient answering all of my questions. He did not try to sell me anything extra and was easy to talk to. Nice office. I highly recommend it.“
“To our dismay our local Vet informed us our 4 yr old Boston Terrier Gnocchi needed a dual surgery on her back leg. He explained he didn't have the equipment or training to perform a PTLO this meant we had to do homework to secure a well qualified hospital and Dr.within reasonable driving distance from our area in Eastern Panhandle WV. I accidentally came across Life Care Animal Hospital by entering150 miles within our home area, it would prove to be a very fruitful search. We called that evening inquired about our needs were assured we had the right place that Dr. A would provide her care!. After fulfilling an x-ray appt and Dr. visit her surgery appt was scheduled. During the initial appt I asked Dr. A how many of this type of surgery he had performed I thought he said 45 but the number was 450 which along with many reassuring reviews we knew Dr.A was the best possible Surgeon. The office is a well oiled machine everyone knows their part and are polite compassionate consistent. The outcome for Gnocchi has been a super success under Dr. A's expertise. The cost was managable for us and definitely competitive in a good way with other area hospitals. As a retired nurse I can attest she recieved the best most secure care available anywhere. We are so grateful we chose your practice to extend and restore her life and health .“
“Dr.Vanama and her staff are highly educated, attentive, caring, and professional. I have personally taken my cats and dogs to her facility for over 5 years now and have never been dissatisfied and I have felt that my animals were always getting the care they deserved.“
“Dr. Medici is amazing! She truly seems to care for the animals and is informative and compassionate towards the owners! She has cared for all of my dogs, and my parent's dogs. Whether a simple preventative exam or a more serious illness, Dr. Medici is thorough and thoughtful. The team at Ohana is also friendly, kind and professional.“
“I wanted to update my review as we recently lost a pet with DSVC. Losing an animal is never easy, but in my opinion the level of care given during that time from a vet office says a lot about the practice. For background, our cat Toby was a rescue that we had the absolute joy and honor of loving for 5 years. When we adopted Toby, he came with no vet records and we had no idea of any health issues (haha, we were in for a rollercoaster ride!). During our time with Toby, he saw DSVC, an ophthalmologist, a neurologist, and lastly an internal medicine vet for small cell lymphoma. All of this is to say that DSVC as a team caught Toby's numerous health conditions over the years and treated what they could, and referred him out for what they could not treat. They called specialists on my behalf to get answers to questions they didn't have the answers for, and to get him in with specialists sooner if needed. Over the years, Toby had almost every procedure possible with DSVC and even stayed with DSVC when they offered hospital and boarding services pre-COVID. Our 5 wonderful years with Toby were only possible because DSVC quite literally saved his life twice and gave him the care he needed and deserved during his lifetime with us. At DSVC, we saw many wonderful techs and doctors over the years (some of which are no longer with the practice) including Dr. Hood, Dr. Luce, Dr. Plummer, Dr. Pattie, Dr. Fernandes, and most recently, Dr. Woodworth and Dr. Blevins. We received, in my opinion, the best veterinary care we could have, with true love and care from DSVC for Toby. Toby unfortunately lost his cancer battle unexpectedly right before Christmas. He was fit in for an appointment with Dr. Blevins and we got the call that she was keeping him warm but he was declining and we needed to come say our goodbyes. It was absolutely heart wrenching, but Dr. Blevins (and our tech, KatieRose - SHE IS A ROCK STAR! Laura is also a rock-star tech that often works with us) were beyond understanding, professional, and friendly (I know there is a better word, but I am tearing up as I write this and cannot think of something other than friendly) through our sobbing and goodbyes. DSVC gave us as much time as we needed with Toby, and Dr. Blevins let us hold him while he went to sleep. We were encouraged to bring our other cat and dog (who also have all of their care through DSVC) and I felt that Toby was able to say goodbye with such dignity and love, I just don't have the words to describe it. DSVC was able to coordinate Toby's cremation (we chose private / single cremation with return of his ashes in an urn) with Agape Pet Services, and included in the cost were mementos. A lot of the reviews that I've read talk about availability and cost. We have been seeing DSVC for over 10 years. Although their availability has fluctuated over the years, they will always get your pet in if it is a true emergency, or they will tell you which Vet ER is best to go to. I understand frustration with limited availability, but like any other business right now, staffing shortages are happening. As far as cost goes, I haven't shopped around for pricing because of the level of love and care they provide my animals. Yes, prices have also fluctuated over the years, but that is the same anywhere. I would rather pay what I do to DSVC to have consistent care and know that my pets are cared for as if they were their own. I know that not everyone has had the experiences I have with DSVC, but I wouldn't think of going elsewhere. Finally, Laurel does grooming for our pets at DSVC. SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST and we won't go anywhere else!“
“I love this practice. All of the vets are caring, knowledgable and very personable. They explain things in layman's terms so you understand what is going on with your pet. I wouldn't go anyplace else for our vet services unless referred to a specialist by one of the docs. They know the best places to send your animal to get speciality care. Their front desk is also super and very friendly. Their techs are the best and are also very caring of your animal. You can't miss with this practice. They are the best.“
