Having four fur-babies means we spend a lot of time at the vet. Dr. Mushtaq has a very soft & gentile disposition that we all appreciate. He’s helped us with some tricky illnesses and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best outcome for his patients. The staff is always organized and kind, and you’d never know other animals were there because it’s always clean & tidy.

Dr. Mushtaq is almost too good to be true. His dental-cleaning prices beat competitors by hundreds, he doesn’t perform unnecessary dental X-rays or anesthesia, and he only extracts teeth if he HAS to:I moved to NoVa recently from another state. My cats have GI issues that cause an insane amount of plaque build-up even though I brush their teeth daily (yes, you read that right). They have to get cleanings every 1-2 years despite that.My former out-of-state vet cleaned one cat’s teeth around last October. In late-April/early-May, I noticed gum irritation and asked the first NoVa vet clinic I went to if she needed her teeth cleaned ASAP. They said no; I should just watch...read full review

We have been coming to Pawsitive since we got our fur baby at 10 weeks old. She is now almost 13 months. Each visit we are greeted with exceptional service from the moment we walk in to the moment we check out. Highly recommend this animal hospital.
