“Andrea Houck has provided my husband and me (as relatively new empty nesters) with stellar interior design services at two homes now, invariably with beautiful results! She worked hard to understand our tastes and objectives with each room, then presented us with a variety of options, usually nailing it the first time but working with us to modify the initial plans, from time to time, based on our inputs. Her design presentations include to-scale pictorial designs, pictures of furniture and artwork, samples (fabric, paint, wallpaper, etc.), and pricing, and once decisions are made, a clear timeline for installations. When everything is ready, she shows up with her team of skilled workers (always on the scheduled date), supervises their work, and, voila, the finished product appears with little effort on our part! “I recently inherited a lithograph that was kept in a garage in Florida, that was severely aged; having some water damage and mold on the art itself. I brought the art to Matin and her team because I had heard of their services and I hoped they would be able to repair it.

To say my jaw dropped when I saw the work done is an understatement. It was like night and day. If you saw the piece today, you would have never guessed that it was damaged.

“A kitchen renovation is a huge project and like most I got several quotes and talked to many vendors. Fernando provided a floorplan, design and estimate that was right on point for me. We needed to remove a load bearing wall and completely gut our kitchen. Fernando went the extra mile to get permits, engineer drawings and all things necessary to make sure we were doing things the right way in my 1930's home. The team working on our kitchen over 3 month time period were hard working, detailed, clean and thorough. We ran into a bump when all the air vents to take air to the second floor were in the wall and needed to be reconfigured but they handled it well and re-did it all. I'm so incredibly happy with our finished kitchen/dining room we feel like we have a completely new house.“

The gallery displays the edgy, realistic artworks of the teachers while offering an insprining and welcoming environment for artists at all levels and ages. A truly enriching experience!“

“I received several kitchen remodeling estimates and SkillsDesign was the only company that suggested rearranging the layout which then allows me to have standard or full size appliances, instead expensive nonstandard sizes. So for less than the cost of the difference between a special size dishwasher and a standard size dishwasher, they suggested to rearrange the footprint and than my door would come out to my back porch, essentially adding square footage to my tiny house. It was brilliant. I was in surprised no one else suggested that and I just got an overwhelming feeling that they cared and I feel that is not something you find very often anymore, a company that cares and SKillsDesign does and it’s a local family owned business. Unfortunately I’m not in the area, so I was sadly only able to use them for the designing, but it was well worth it. I also have a very small space, so they took the time and designed every single cabinet to my specifications. The communication was excellent and they were always on time and if you’re lucky enough to live in the area, I would highly recommend using them for any and all remodeling projects as they have many talents and can turn your remodeling project to something that will blow away any and all competition.
