“Andrea Houck has provided my husband and me (as relatively new empty nesters) with stellar interior design services at two homes now, invariably with beautiful results! She worked hard to understand our tastes and objectives with each room, then presented us with a variety of options, usually nailing it the first time but working with us to modify the initial plans, from time to time, based on our inputs. Her design presentations include to-scale pictorial designs, pictures of furniture and artwork, samples (fabric, paint, wallpaper, etc.), and pricing, and once decisions are made, a clear timeline for installations. When everything is ready, she shows up with her team of skilled workers (always on the scheduled date), supervises their work, and, voila, the finished product appears with little effort on our part! She executes her work with creativity, imagination, and professionalism -- and she is fun to work with! “Daryl Carter for more than a decade has been impacting interior designers nationally. When his first books The New Traditional was published the US was drowning in beige living rooms and red dining rooms. Mr. Carter liberated our senses and showed us how to keep our antique collections and make them new again through curating. It is impossible to talk about design and the last 15 years of style evolution with out discussing his body of work. Mr. Cater is a national treasure and DC is very-very lucky to have him. Why has he not been apart of the White House redesign yet? Big mystery to me.“

“We added onto our 1938 Cape Cod style house in Arlington, Virginia to accommodate a three generation family of five. Winn Design did a great job incorporating the requests from all of us. For Gramma, me, there is a lovely first floor suite with a wide ADA compliant hall and a private bathroom. For my son and his wife there is a new bedroom with beautiful skylights and a master bath bath on the second floor and an art studio with lots of light in the basement. For the tween and teen granddaughters there are bedrooms for each of them and they only need to share a bath. For all of us there is now a large comfortable screened porch right off the kitchen. Everyone we worked with at Winn was pleasant and capable. The onsite supervisor kept us informed every work day by text and photographs about the progress being made and what to expect next. I couldn't be happier with our "new" house.“
“Over the years I have been through several kitchen remodels, large and small. Working with Four Brothers was by far the most pleasant and easiest. Everyone who came to my home was pleasant, professional, good natured and really knew what they were doing. The work went smoothly and whatever problems arose, good solutions were offered.
