I had another reputable roofing company come out to inspect what I thought was a leaking boot/flashing round the roof's vent pipe. They were ready to charge me a couple of hundred dollars for the repair. Vinton Roofing Co. came out today, and I was told the vent pipe below the roof was leaking at the elbow joint. So no roof repairs needed at this time. I really appreciate their honesty, and I will be sure to call Vinton Roofing Co. when needing roofing replacement/repairs in the future.“

“When I think about a quality roofing job my criteria are pretty simple. 1) Does it leak? and 2) Did the contractor clean up after themselves when done. It hasn't rained yet so I don't know on #1. But the work looks like it was done well. On #2 my reaction is WOW!! I pulled in at the end of the day when they were pretty much done and I didn't even see a leaf in my driveway, let alone a shingle or a nail. I watched them quarter the area with magnets and they covered all the obvious things. Frankly, I was amazed at the cleanup. I used to do roofing and I can tell you we never did anything like that.
