“We purchased an existing house 4 years ago which had a dual-fuel HVAC system. I contacted the company I used for many years at our old house which I was very happy with but, they didn't seem to understand the system. I did a little research of reviews for HVAC companies in Chesapeake and found Simmons had great ratings. I found quickly why they had 5-stars! My previous HVAC contractor had been out twice and I was left with, " you need a new thermostat" and left with a cold house. That's when I found Simmons. They were very responsive and were out within 8 hours. The technician was very polite, professional and explained everything about the system (since I was unfamiliar with a dual-fuel system). He identified the problem and made the necessary repairs quickly. Having had a great experience then, I put the system under contract with them. Since then they have not let me down. They have kept my system in excellent condition. This week I suddenly had an issue with heat. Called and had a technician here within 3 hours. He got the system working but the next day I had the same issue and on one of the coldest days the system was out again. I called after hours and within 15 minutes had a call back from the on-call tech who said he would be here in 20 minutes. He was. The problem was so minute, a loose connection, but trouble shooting that was a pain for him, but he found the problem within 15 minutes. Simmons is my only HVAC system contractor. I know the age of the existing system and understand it only has a few years left in it. I feel confident that Simmons will keep it running great and when the dreaded day comes, it will be Simmons technicians installing a new system.“

I can't say enough how grateful I am with Pride Mechanical & Cooling. My AC went out over the weekend and upon my return needless to say that walking in the house was like a walk in the desert(not quite but anyway). I had got a number to call for another AC repair while I was on my way back into town and left a voice message. I never heard back so I call again in the morning, still no call. So my niece had sent me the number to Pride Mechanical. She said that they had great reviews and now I know why. They were able to come out the same day due to a cancelled service.They did have a slighty higher service fee than another place I had called( but, I figured that the other guys would have calculated the difference on something else anyway.) It was interaction of call with Mrs. Debbie that made stick with Pride. From start to finished it was a very pleasant experience, from Mrs. Debbie the office rep to the tech's that came out Isom and Talon. Two wonderful young men(brothers) that were so sweet and kind. They got my AC up and running in no time at all. From now on I will Never call another AC repair company unless it's Pride Mechanical Heating & Cooling. There number is now on speed dial!“
