Having moved from So-Cal, I've spent a good half a year looking for a good laser place with transparent pricing, trustworthy clinicians, and good machinery. I have darker skin and black hair, so I'm cautious not to go just anywhere. Semper laser had great opening offers, and while I hadn't heard of it before, I realized when I signed 20 pages of consent forms that it must be a large company. The facility is modern, clean, and--once you know where it is, easy to find. I think the issue with the location is mainly that the ballston mall is confusing and lacking signage. The staff at Semper have been pleasant and easy to talk to. Very communicative. I would recommend arriving early though because it sounds like they are strict on no shows.
Eva is the best! I used to visit her at a upscale spa in DC until she opened her new place. Even though I am in Chevy Chase she is still my therapist. She knows what she is doing and is professional, kind and really works to identify the problem and to achieve long term pain relief. Highly recommend!!

I recently hired Nizar to repair my Samsung gas oven in my rental. He was able to check it out the very next day for an $89 service fee which would be cancelled if we hired him for the repair.I sent him the address and he showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the situation as a faulty igniter. He was prepared to replace it right away for just under $300.I gave him the go-ahead and he shortly had that fixed up and my oven working. My tenant was so happy (he bakes incredible sourdough) and I didn't have to get involved.I definitely recommend Nizar for other landlords!

Visiting DC area for my daughter's graduation and had a tooth ache that was getting worse. My sister-in-law referred me to Dr. Ahmadian and Arlington Advanced Dental Care as she has had significant work done over the past year and is extremely complementary. I called and mentioned I had been referred and they fit me in that afternoon! Arrived at 1:30pm, the reception was professional, very friendly, and efficient. Had the X-rays w/in 20 min of my arrival and Dr. Ahmadian saw me within 10 min. He highlighted I had a broken tooth and asked me if I was aware. "Well that explains the jagged edge I can feel with my tongue!" I said! This reminded me of my last cleaning when my dentist highlighted it would likely be an issue soon.Dr. Ahmadian illustrated the risk of how close the base of the cavity was to the nerve and was upfront and honest there was a significant risk of hitting the nerve. if so, a root canal on a Friday afternoon was in my immediate future. Additionally, Dr. Ahmadian highlighted the issue of the implant which was next to this tooth. The bone and the implant looked very strong and no issues, but the gum line was inflamed and would need some additional investigation when I got home and could see my regular dentist and oral surgeon.Dr. Ahmadian's care, easy going manner, and complete honesty of the issue was GREATLY appreciated. Multiple shots of novocaine before the drilling, a few more as they were unfortunately needed, and extremely efficient work by him and his dental assistant to clean out the old filling, clean out the additional cavity sections, and then fill the cavity and repair the exterior where the tooth had cracked and broken. AND HE DIDN'T hit the nerve!!Most importantly, Dr. Ahmadian highlighted his concern this work could be temporary as the size of the cavity and the thinness of the actual tooth's exterior at this point could very well result in an eventual root canal and implant need. This honesty and counsel of the best course of action was extremely important and he took the time to make sure I understood. I accepted this risk and I am very glad I did as of course his steady hands and care did not hit the nerve!Dr. Ahmadian advised me to avoid chewing on that side for a couple days, try to eat soft foods regardless, and to expect it to be tender for a few days. It was definitely tender and still is a bit but because he took the time to speak with me on the whole issue, I wasn't concerned.When Dr. Ahmadian highlighted the importance of my finding my dentist to see as soon as possible and to make sure the gums by this tooth and the implant were looked at, I inquired whether there was any infection and should I go on an antibiotic to be safe. He highlighted there was no infection but the tenderness of the gums was to be expected and it was important to see a specialist for a follow-up.Thank you Dr. Ahmadian for your expert care, your honesty and taking the time to make sure I understood every aspect of my situation. You explained and illustrated the issue, the risks, and even though you weren't sure if you could avoid hitting the nerve, you were able to and I consider myself extremely fortunate i was referred to you from by my sister-in-law.Thank you to the reception staff, the dental assistant, and the efficiency of the entire process!! I called Elysian as a last ditch effort to find someone I could really connect with after several false starts at other clinics and different therapists. The admin was really helpful and kind and suggested a psychologist after hearing my story. I attended my first session and felt heard and cared for. My life definitely changed for the better through the work I did with my psychotherapist. I would 100% recommend.

I cannot recommend Elle enough! I found her online when in dire need of color correction from another stylist. I have been seeing Elle for about a year and a half now and I am never disappointed! She has found the perfect formula to cover my grays and is as close to "nature" as possible in the color. Elle also cares about the health of your hair...so she isn't going to perform a service that your locks aren't ready for (meaning she cares more about YOU than the $$). She is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about color and balayage. I also appreciate that she does a gloss with each service to keep my color looking fresh. I highly recommend Lavender and Mane!
Chahira is the best! She really took care of my hair and listened to my requests. My hair was super dry coming in, and I was expecting it to get drier after my cut & dye, but Chahira somehow made my hair feel the healthiest it's ever been even after the bleach and dye. Can't recommend her enough if you're looking for a colorist!Requested style: I wanted a purple balayage and Chahira gave me the most gorgeous blend!
finally found my hairstyler for life! This is the second time I scheduled an appointment with RM and I left feeling amazing and someone complimented my look on the way to my car. The first time I went my hair was so damaged so it was just to restore its health and I liked her work, so now that my hair was in good health I wanted to have a real haircut and new style and OMG she delivered, I feel so empowered. One of the most qualified hair professionals I've ever been to and it shows. I haven't walked out of a hair salon totally happy with the results in years and Dina was able to do that for me. I got a Brazilian Blowout done after years of being on a natural hair journey and feeling burnout out (my hair is 3C/4a combination). It's been a few days since my appointment, so I cannot speak in the long term, but I feel like it was definitely the right decision. My hair is more manageable and easier to maintain. The haircut that came with the treatment also fits me perfectly and is the most even and fitting hairstyle for my face that I've gotten. One of the best parts of going to Dina's salon was the experience of being the sole client in the salon, in an intimate, comfortable setting. Dina truly gives you her full attention and it shows in the results. She also is able to educate you with tips on how to properly take care of your hair. You feel like you are in the salon with your friend and you do get to know her and she gets to know you. You feel empowered talking to her. You also walkout feeling like she wants you to look and feel your best. In the salon, she also has all her certifications lining the entirety of one wall, which matches her 30+ years of experience and gift with hair and beauty. Amazingly friendly no-frills barbershop/salon. I walked in and asked for a basic trim of my long and super damaged hair. My stylist gave me a great cut, with layers and she kept in mind how prone my hair was to split ends, so she made sure to modify her methods accordingly and explained everything as she did it. I love my new haircut! And the price is so reasonable! She quoted me 35 for my long hair and even apologized saying it's normally 25(?) for regular length hair. Still an amazing price!

I love Keen and would recommend it to anyone who, like me, isn’t used to going to get their nails done by someone else. The staff here are always welcoming and friendly and the environment is much more calming than your normal nail salon experience. I don’t necessarily even have a go to nail tech because every person I’ve gone to has been outstanding. The brown sugar scrub and hand/arm massage is amazing. Highly recommend for the seasoned nail salon pros and the newbies.
My-Le is amazing! I regularly went to her for gel-x and biab for over a year. Her dry manicures last 4 weeks or more with no chipping. I really appreciate her expertise and skill - she helped me grow out my nails to the healthiest and longest they have ever been even though I am super rough with my nails (I don't wear gloves while cleaning / doing dishes, skip cuticle oil even though my hands are usually dry from hand sanitizer and washing, and I even use my nails to open cans of cat food every day with no issues.) I am moving out of state now and I am so sad that I will no longer be able to go here for my nails -- I will be comparing any other nail tech I go to to My-Le from now on!

Liz is fantastic!!! I came from a well known McLean dermatology practice that did microneedling where I was rushed in and out and the doctor had no bedside manner. Liz welcomed me into a warm, beautiful room with a luxurious warmed bed and gave the service as a spa service and I never looked back. Based on my skin type she suggested a slightly different service. In the months I have been going she has gently suggested which type of facial is best and when I asked, which products. My skin looks way way better than it did a year or two ago!

I full heartily recommend getting your wax done by Fefe! She is very accommodating and ON IT unlike most of the chain businesses. I was amazed to almost experience a pain free wax (6-7 areas.) I had given up waxing completely (0 pain tolerance) but Fefe is such an amazing provider and I am so happy to have found her! She made the entire experience fun and informative. I will only give her business from now on! The quality of her wax is top knotch and her skills are unmatched in the DMV

I don't know where to begin! I have been coming here since...I think 2019? Nessa will get you HOOKED...in the best way. This is a family run practice in Arlington (despite the name) in a cute little house like studio - one side being facial things and other being Brazilian! The parking lot is free however it can be very tight and limited, there is street parking you have to pay for.
I got their full Brazilian package and it came with a signature facial. Nessa did my Brazilian and I can't praise her enough! She is THE BEST of the BEST! She is educated, informative, and so positive! She honestly makes it so great to be around. They take care of you before, during, and after care of your appointment.
I am now a regular for their facials as well. I have purchased a few facial packages and I love Mina or Mariam! Both are great. I attribute my clear and glowing skin to their facials. I go about once a season (that's all I can afford right now or I'd go more) and am eventually saving up for more laser packages!
There are many places that will try to sell you on laser but these ladies here have certifications, degrees and it runs in the family.

Kiki is the best massage therapist/facialist I have ever known. She is professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and incredibly talented. I have had neck and shoulder pain and the pain is relieved by her massages. I absolutely fall asleep during the sessions because her studio is serene and she has a calming, expert presence. You just know you will be healthier and happier than when you arrived. Kiki is so gifted...she knows what your skin/hair/muscles need and can guide you to feeling and looking better. I see her at least two times per month, more often if I am able. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment.

Aura spa at Vida Fitness in Ballston is a hidden gem. I had the best facial with Elena! I have sensitive skin and the products were very soothing and effective. I enjoyed every step of the facial from the rejuvenating face massage, lymph drainage techniques, neck and shoulder stretches, gentle extractions, hot towels, etc. There was minimal talking so I was able to be present in my body to rest and restore. Ambiance is excellent. Customer service is great. I love the low key unpretentious vibe of this spa. You gotta check it out!
I’ve come for Botox and filler with Micaela and both times have been lovely! She is attentive and informative. She explains everything she’s doing and is constantly checking in to make sure I’m feeling okay and getting the look I want. I’m will be back for sure!

I've been coming to this salon since 2018 and have always gotten amazing quality dip sets. After I moved away in 2021 I tried to find salons walking distance to my new apartment but just never found another place that provides the level of service like aura day spa does. As someone who has done their research of Arlington salons and frequents dip manicures on a regular basis, I can confidently say aura day spa has nail techs that focus on the structure of the nail (to make them last) as well as making them look nice. The vibe of the salon is always calm and never too loud even when busy. Now I always tell myself this salon is worth the drive and have been coming back more the past year

We recently had an exterior line break out front and this company did an amazing job repairing the line professionally and in a timely manner. In addition we had a separate issue with our irrigation system that they also took a look at and quickly repaired as well. Khalid is terrific. Extremely responsive and attentive. We had a leak in our dishwasher. He came out and could not find the leak. He did not ask for any payment and we agreed I would keep an eye on it. Once I found the source he came right back and diagnosed what parts he needed to order. Again, he did not ask for payment. Once the ordered parts came in, he let me know and came back to fix it. He never asked to be paid until the problem was resolved. He is kind and so pleasant. I highly recommend him. He will not disappoint.
I recently hired Nizar to repair my Samsung gas oven in my rental. He was able to check it out the very next day for an $89 service fee which would be cancelled if we hired him for the repair.I sent him the address and he showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the situation as a faulty igniter. He was prepared to replace it right away for just under $300.I gave him the go-ahead and he shortly had that fixed up and my oven working. My tenant was so happy (he bakes incredible sourdough) and I didn't have to get involved.I definitely recommend Nizar for other landlords!

Carlos power washed my front wooden deck and rear stone patio. The work was done while I was out of town. When I returned I found the rear patio looking spectacular, but I was not thrilled with the front. I contacted Carlos who explained that he was worried about peeling to much stain off of the wood. When I told him I knew it would require some touch up staining he set a time to return and did an excellent job. He would not take my check until I was completely satisfied. I am happy to recommend Sonshine.

Ada and Fanny are the best… they do a beautiful job cleaning our home and on top of that, they’re so kind to our 4 year boy and make all the paper products into bows (it’s the little things). Our range and the inside of our double ovens were disgustingly filthy despite our past efforts to keep them clean. I googled search for a cleaning company and Nordland kept popping up. I'm so glad I called Daizy. She and Julie performed a miracle on those ovens! I will definitely call Nordland again and refer them to friends.

Miracle Painters are a very professional and capable company. They repaired and painted the trim on our house, grinded and epoxied our garage floor beautifully, repaired some carpet and powerwashed and sealed our brickwork. They are fair priced, prompt and do a great job. I highly recommend them to do almost any handy work in addition to painting.

DMV did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. We had contracted with an online design company who hired DMV and the design company screwed things up from beginning to end. I think the project ended up taking about 10 months (for one small bathroom). But DMV really went above and beyond to get the job completed, and they've come back to fix some small problems we've had afterwards. They purchased materials at their own expense, not knowing if they'd ever be reimbursed, in order to keep construction moving! If it weren't for the professionalism and follow through of DMV, I don't know what would have happened. Since I didn't hire DMV directly, I can't speak to many aspects of their business, but they really saved me from a terrible disaster. They subcontracted out the actual work, but they made an excellent choice and the quality of the construction is excellent. Beautiful tile work, and total respect for my home in the process. I would definitely hire them again.
I just want to say first that Tony from Payless Painting has nothing to do with Carlos from My Payless Painting. The phone number for Tony is 703-850-7185. Unfortunately Yelp will not take down the bad reviews of Carlos from My Payless Painting, so in turn it has a negative affect on Tony and his business for no reason. I used Tony for a renovation for my sister's condo and he did excellent work. His work included painting, installing light fixtures, pulling up carpet, installing a toilet, and installing a sink. His attention to detail was outstanding and he kept on top of every facet of the job. He cleaned in an excellent manner and did the job in a time manner.
I contracted with Gardenwise to do a complete backyard renovation on Capitol Hill in DC. The finished project was actually featured in the Washington Post for Best of DC getaways. I had a customized fireplace designed and constructed, brick carport installed, a complete outdoor kitchen area to include a grill and refrigerator, picture perfect pergola, and a front steps customized stone installation. Everything was completed on time and within budget. Mark's eye to detail and oversight of every detail on the project was what anyone would expect from a top notch landscaper architect. I would recommend Garden wise without any hesitation.

Hired this company to do a heat treatment at my apartment in Rockville Maryland and they did a fantastic job. I had a very bad case of bed bugs that had been going on for several months and they wiped out all the bed bugs in one treatment. Afterwards they did a follow up check and spray just to be sure since the bugs had been coming through the walls in my unit. Their exterminator was extremely friendly and helpful during this entire process and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a bed bug treatment in the DMV area. Thomas and his gentlemen workers provided a superb experience taking down my 30ft Mulberry Tree as well as stump & root removal. During the estimate appointment, Thomas was incredibly detailed on options with a very fair estimate and he provided advice on a replacement tree (Crape Myrtle). His gentlemen were efficient, very neat about the work area, super friendly and even reset my paving stones. It is like there was never a tree in the first place. You will not be disappointed if you select them!

Now that they're getting into their late teens / college age, we're going to see how long they let them keep coming to a pediatric dentist :). This place is so wonderful. The care is kind and gentle and the administration is competent and thoughtful. After a great visit, had the front office reach out to ask me for more info regarding insurance to avoid any charges to me. That kind of proactive approach to insurance, minimizing burden on the patient, is so rare. My kids go here, too, and have had great care.

My dentist of 25 years retired and I tried several dentists. My neighbors referred me to Dr. Aniqa Zaheer, who had just set up her clinic in my condominium. She is amazing -- gentle hands, very professional manner, and takes time to explain how she will care for my teeth in the years to come. I will most likely retire before she will -- so that is good. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Grover is the best dentist in the area, by far. She clearly articulates your examination results so that you understand exactly what is going on and the implications to your overall health, she takes time to address all of your concerns, and is extremely thorough. I recommend to all.
Visiting DC area for my daughter's graduation and had a tooth ache that was getting worse. My sister-in-law referred me to Dr. Ahmadian and Arlington Advanced Dental Care as she has had significant work done over the past year and is extremely complementary. I called and mentioned I had been referred and they fit me in that afternoon! Arrived at 1:30pm, the reception was professional, very friendly, and efficient. Had the X-rays w/in 20 min of my arrival and Dr. Ahmadian saw me within 10 min. He highlighted I had a broken tooth and asked me if I was aware. "Well that explains the jagged edge I can feel with my tongue!" I said! This reminded me of my last cleaning when my dentist highlighted it would likely be an issue soon.Dr. Ahmadian illustrated the risk of how close the base of the cavity was to the nerve and was upfront and honest there was a significant risk of hitting the nerve. if so, a root canal on a Friday afternoon was in my immediate future. Additionally, Dr. Ahmadian highlighted the issue of the implant which was next to this tooth. The bone and the implant looked very strong and no issues, but the gum line was inflamed and would need some additional investigation when I got home and could see my regular dentist and oral surgeon.Dr. Ahmadian's care, easy going manner, and complete honesty of the issue was GREATLY appreciated. Multiple shots of novocaine before the drilling, a few more as they were unfortunately needed, and extremely efficient work by him and his dental assistant to clean out the old filling, clean out the additional cavity sections, and then fill the cavity and repair the exterior where the tooth had cracked and broken. AND HE DIDN'T hit the nerve!!Most importantly, Dr. Ahmadian highlighted his concern this work could be temporary as the size of the cavity and the thinness of the actual tooth's exterior at this point could very well result in an eventual root canal and implant need. This honesty and counsel of the best course of action was extremely important and he took the time to make sure I understood. I accepted this risk and I am very glad I did as of course his steady hands and care did not hit the nerve!Dr. Ahmadian advised me to avoid chewing on that side for a couple days, try to eat soft foods regardless, and to expect it to be tender for a few days. It was definitely tender and still is a bit but because he took the time to speak with me on the whole issue, I wasn't concerned.When Dr. Ahmadian highlighted the importance of my finding my dentist to see as soon as possible and to make sure the gums by this tooth and the implant were looked at, I inquired whether there was any infection and should I go on an antibiotic to be safe. He highlighted there was no infection but the tenderness of the gums was to be expected and it was important to see a specialist for a follow-up.Thank you Dr. Ahmadian for your expert care, your honesty and taking the time to make sure I understood every aspect of my situation. You explained and illustrated the issue, the risks, and even though you weren't sure if you could avoid hitting the nerve, you were able to and I consider myself extremely fortunate i was referred to you from by my sister-in-law.Thank you to the reception staff, the dental assistant, and the efficiency of the entire process!! Best Arlington Va chiropractor to call first after I wrecked my truck! Awesome neck and back care pain chiro for whiplash injuries. They THOROUGHLY took their time assessing my neck and back pain from the whiplash injuries I sustained! I never experienced such expertise in managing auto accident injuries, and I felt confident in their treatment plan. Ok, What stood out the most was their ability to directly bill the at fault drivers auto insurance claim number!!! I didn't even have to go in my pocket. I came to Airrosti with a shoulder injury causing pain throughout my arm. Each visit was broken into two sessions - tough-love deep tissue work followed by a friendly demonstration of tailored exercises to perform at home. Highly recommend! I came in with restless leg syndrome, which I had been dealing with on and off for many years at night. I tried different things to heal it such as my diet and exercise but it was still not completely gone. After seeing Dr. Park for only a month, I already started seeing immediate results. It has now been roughly 2 months, and I can safely say I no longer deal with restless leg syndrome! I can sleep very comfortably now! The office staff is also incredibly personable. I always feel so special walking into the office.
I don't typically leave reviews, but this one is well-earned. A month before my wedding, I severely injured my back. I could not walk or even sit upright, making it impossible to visit a chiropractor's office. I decided to give Dr. Cassis a try since he would come to me. I'm so glad I did! Not only did he help me through the most acute pain, but I was entirely pain-free for my wedding. That would not have been possible without Dr. Cassis.
The home visits are so convenient that I plan to keep working with him. (He comes well-equipped with a drop table and other chiropractic tools--you won't miss the office.) Beyond my back, I've noticed improvements in my posture and range of motion thanks to his holistic practice. I highly recommend him.
This practice is AMAZING. Dr. Andrino is the most caring medical professional I've ever met ... and boy have I met a lot. He also happens to be unbelievably talented. I started seeing him for back issues during pregnancy, and to my surprise, he also helped position my baby to make natural childbirth easier. Since then, he's helped tremendously with a host of medical conditions that have popped up post-pregnancy. The man is a genius at what he does.Andrino's wife Cryssa somehow keeps that incredibly busy office running like a smooth machine and is always so lovely to interact with. And really, the entire staff is fantastic. Best front-office experience you'll ever have at a medical appointment.Additionally, my son started seeing Dr. Ashley for frequent ear infections as soon as I heard about it. He was one infection away from needing tube surgery a year ago ... and he hasn't had antibiotics since. He was getting ear infections every 6-8 weeks, and in the past year has only had one - which Dr. Ashley was able to clear up. I'm THRILLED!Update: He sees Dr. Sardis now, and has continued to be ear infection free!

Dr. Robert Wainer of Bowman Chiropractic Center has saved me from nightmarish pain and a miserable life more times than I can count. I have degenerative issues in lower spinal disks; therapeutic and chiropractic treatments with Dr Rob have kept me out of surgery and off drugs. When pain and issues come back, even from normal daily living (looking at you office chair!), I know a few visits in to see Dr Rob will get me back into the game of life and continuing to enjoy the outdoor activities I’m passionate about. He’s very good, and I highly recommend him.
I've seen Dr. Schreffler for the duration of my pregnancy to proactively balance and mitigate so many of the traditional aches, pains, and body changes. His work with me has evolved with every week and every new concern/area of focus. He has a very personalized approach to meet the needs of my body. There are traditional chiropractic movements, but also body work, massage, and Webster Technique additions. Dr. Schreffler is kind, empathetic, knowledgeable (and shares this knowledge) proactively and makes me feel very comfortable (and my body feel better after every session). I've seen a few chiropractors and Dr. Schreffler is the best for me! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a thoughtful approach.

Northside is a small, friendly practice where your pets are truly treated like family. Over the past 18 years, they have seen 3 of our labs through good times and crisis and will soon meet a fourth. Switched to CAC North from another vet in Fairfax and I wish we had started here from the start! I have two Italian greyhounds and have done an international health certificate here, and also been in for: routine vaccinations, anxiety medication management, parasite deworming, and GI issues. Luxor and Pharoah love to see Caitlin (tech) and DVM McCrory, but when we needed to get in asap for my newly adopted iggy who wasn’t holding down food, Julia (tech) and DVM Gottlieb were incredible! When I was struggling to get my adopted iggy’s previous vet records, the staff were able to get them on file for me. Prescriptions here are so easy to fill in office or on Chewy, and their online booking system is awesome. Italian greyhounds are weird, anxious little guys and the staff is always willing to bend over backwards to make them comfy. We are going to start seeing their vet behaviorist for some help with our reactive new little guy, and we know we will be in the best care! Receipts and post-visit instructions are always emailed and we usually always get phone calls after visits to see any add-on care is needed. This place is incredible!!
While visiting VA in summer, my Yorkie started making weird and scary noises (reverse sneezing) like if she weren’t able to breath ?. I immediately called Heart + Paw and after they listened over the phone, what has happened, they squeezed me in for a a check up. Dr. Jaclyn Erwin was very king and explained it was an episode of reverse sneezing. Not need to worry about. It wasn’t life threatening and it will go away with time. Next day the Dr. called to follow up my Yorkie’s episode and even helped with some tips for future episodes, if so. Heart + paw has a Super fast, friendly, kind a caring services. ? My Yorkie is doing great and she is ready travel back with me. ✈️

The staff took excellent care of my senior cat! It was a calm environment which helped my cat feel comfortable and not so stressed. All of the staff were so kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Tores explained the exam and results well. I felt like they really listened to my concerns too!
I brought my brand new puppy here and they were amazing. I appreciated the insight they had on additional vaccines she may need, especially since she's in a daycare and around other dogs all day long 3 days a week. I've read the other reviews here, and it seems like the "bad" reviews are single bad experiences or folks not used to vets and not understanding how things work - I think my appointment went beautifully and look forward to the team being my Lola's forever vet.

I've brought my dog here 3-4 times for grooming. I always make my appointment via text and Carel accommodates our schedule for dropping off. She always communicates when our dog is almost done so we have a 20 minute heads up when we can pick her up. The cuts have all been good and our dog seems well cared for.
We've been taking our dog Cody to InStyle Pet Grooming for several years. Our dog is always happy and looks great when we pick him up. I also appreciate that Becky, the owner, is so diligent about asking for proof of rabies vaccination before she will accept a dog for grooming. She cares a lot about both her furry and her human clients.
Highly recommend the Sunday morning flow classes, it is a great class to help get ready for the week.

Crystal City only has one location on the map for ClassPass, so I decided to give it a try. I had the pleasure of taking a class with the head coach, Nina. She was able to show me around and told me about the different resistance level springs. The full body session targeted the inner thighs and core. I didn't think I would sweat during class but I literally felt sweat dripping down my arms and my face. Pilates on the reformer with Nina will challenge you! You'll work out muscles you never thought ever existed until class. There are self-locking lockers and two gender neutral bathrooms. Both bathrooms have toiletries for your personal use -- tampons, hair ties, Bobby pins, hair spray, deodorant spray, etc. It can be on the more premium side in terms of price (drop in class is $40), but if you have classpass or a monthly membership, it's worth it if you want to commit to Pilates and a strong body! I recommend solidcore!
This is a great location! The instructors are kind and helpful. The equipment is clean and nice. The music is fun and upbeat, but not too loud. There is also validated parking for the underneath garage.

Had a fantastic experience receiving a massage here. Friendly, clean, and so relaxing. Only challenge was that the parking lot was full, so arrive a bit early to make sure you have time.

Jesse Byrd was absolutely amazing. He understood my needs and worked with my body in a way that I slept like I never slept before that night after the massage. He listened to my words as well as was very in tune with what my body was expressing and especially where I held stress, tension and even unexpressed emotions. His level of professionalism and expertise is above and beyond, I have received many massages and bodywork and I would say his gift, skill set and ability go unmatched. As well, the girls at the front desk were so pleasant, helpful and calming. The experience overall was wonderful, thank you so much!
Angelee is the best massage experience my wife and I have ever had (and we've had many over the years). She is calm and thorough and amazingly effective at finding and working on sore or injured areas that need attention. And she is a wonderful teacher as well, explaining her process and how to best help yourself continue to heal or avoid other injuries. The very best!!
I was very pleased with Peter and his treatment of my muscular problem. He was knowledgeable and competent with his therapeutic massage. I felt better immediately after my first session and felt even better the day after. I expect to continue with Peter in the months ahead.

Dr. Hamidi provided superb support during my recent visit. I had a complex, seemingly intractable problem in my right leg, and I was touched by how much time he took with me to diagnose it and to offer several steps to remediate it. He was careful, methodical, and completely reassuring. I didn't feel rushed and could not have asked for better assistance on this issue. This is consistent with treatment he has provided me over the years.
Reiki, I’ve had reiki done a few times by different practitioners, mostly it felt like the rest your soul needed.But with Krisstal, my reiki treatments have been a journey. The profound healing and work that has happened in our sessions is insane. Krisstal has a gift of healing and you’re fortunate if you put yourself in her hands.
Excellent professional massage. I had a 90-minute therapy session. The price is about 30% higher than what I usually pay, likely due to the higher cost of living in the area. For the premium price, I would have expected more of a spa ambiance. However, it was pretty generic, with private rooms separated by curtains at the entrance.

The overall approach of only dedicated time with the patient is excellent. My trainer, Chris, was the best I have had over the years of going to different establishments. He is able to craft exercises that I can do on my own, without the expensive equipment. Finally, the staff, especially Tamisha and Kevin, are always welcoming. This is a great choice for physical therapy.
I went to Ace Rehab after I broke and dislocated my shoulder. The entire team from Dr. Rishabh to Jackie were incredible. They were able to work with me and my tight schedule to ensure I did everything needed to recover quickly and safely. It is because of them I sit here one month later with a functioning arm.
I've been using Dr. Ward for years now as part of my recovery routine. His knowledge on injuries due to athletics is better than some orthopedists I know.
I was really impressed with the care I received at Inova Ballston for a herniated disc. I saw Brandon Carestia for most of my appointments, and I appreciated how attentive he was- he would update my care for each day depending on any issues I identified for him, and truly helped me get stronger over the course of several months during my treatment. He also set a routine for me to follow at home, made sure I knew how to do every exercise correctly, and updated the routine regularly based on how I was progressing during appointments. He genuinely seemed invested in my health and progress and it made a huge difference in my recovery journey. My only issue with the practice was that it could be difficult to reach the office over the phone and it was challenging to reschedule appointments, although I am sure that is just because everyone involved with the practice is busy.
Dr Ziegler has been a Godsend. I've appreciated his holistic approach & thoroughness with my lower back issues.
