Keen offers non toxic nail polish, which is rare to find in the DMV. Ash is amazing for builder gel and the salon has a great selection of colors. The aesthetics of the salon and drink menu feels calming and peaceful almost like being at a spa. I appreciate that this small business is woman owned and their leadership genuinely cares about improving the customer experience.

Builder gel has changed my life! Naturally I have very brittle nails and gave up on them after trying gel manicures, dip powder, acrylic, and even gel x extensions; I thought it was too much of a hassle for me to have well manicured nails let alone deal with the upkeep. That was until I tried out keen as a “last hope” kind of thing. Every nail tech I’ve worked with at the salon has been professional and great at what they do but, I want to highlight Uyanga! She is the BEST- thorough, detailed, and skillful. I really enjoy coming to see her because I know my nails will come out impeccable every time. Enjoyed my first experience at Keen! You think you'll miss the water in your mani/pedi, but you really don't. The services are not cheap, but the experience, customer service, and result are all worth the cost! I also really like the builder gel so far as a thicker version of regular gel, but a healthier alternative to SNS. If you're able, definitely try this nail salon.
