“I am a life long martial artist. I wrestled in Jr. High and High school. I have trained and competed all over the world in amateur boxing, sport karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I also hold a third degree black belt in American Kenpo. I currently train and compete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo. I started training at Absolute a little over three years ago and my son has been training at Absolute for the past couple of years. This is a fight gym and this is the place to go if you want to learn how to fight, defend yourself, and/or compete. With that said, Absolute is also a great place for beginners. Everyone has to start somewhere and beginners start here almost every day. My training partners, teammates, and coaches have become some of my best friends. The community and sense of belonging to something that is bigger than you can be felt the first time you step on the mats or pull on a pair of gloves. There is no other gym or training facility in Utah that even comes close. Hands down, this is the best MMA gym in town!“

“Lotus Blossom is amazing and so is Master Parnell. If you or your kids are interested in martial arts give them a try. His Haidong Gumdo class is beautiful to watch. Our son is a 2nd degree black belt in it and he has gained so much from being in the discipline. Master Parnell even lets people try the 1st class for free to see if they like it.“

“I love this place; the atmosphere, lap pool, and kids' pool are great. The staff is super helpful and friendly. But the sporadic hours are difficult to plan around, and I know this is due to staffing shortages. I'd love it to be open longer/later so I could still swim after work and school.“
