“As a physician, I am keenly aware of the benefit of exercise. Starting martial arts at the age of 75 has been a real awakening. I watch the children being taught respect, following directions and amazing physical skills. As an oldster I have enjoyed a major increase in balance and coordination. It is also a memory exercise, remembering movement patterns. And I play tennis--my ability to anticipate the trajectory of the ball and to use my entire body to produce power is now better than it was on the tennis court 20 years ago!! “We just started about a month ago. My child is in the little dragons classes and it has been a great experience so far. We have really enjoyed Master Susan, and how knowledgeable she is. She also makes the classes fun and engaging, which is not easy when the kids are 4-6.“
