“After shattering the top of my humerus, I had five months of physical therapy at Athletico in Soutlake. My shoulder was basically useless when I began therapy because the break tore the rotator cuff in my shoulder. I opted not to have surgery--which itself is a serious injury from which to recover--and received superlative care at Athletico. Week by week I regained more movement and strength, and now I can do virtually everything I need to do with my arm. Surgery would not have improved this outcome. I was dismissed today with instructions for therapy at home which I will do on my own. I know I can contact them at any time for further help. I highly recommend this place! They are kind and friendly and remember details about each patient, adjusting their care to their particular needs. Excellent care, great staff!“

“Dr. Elizabeth Marrero is fantastic! From the first appointment through the end of my 4th appointment she treated me with kindness, compassion and respect. Elizabeth made me feel comfort right away and explained every intention throughout the examination and treatment. I have never had to go through PT before so I was a little nervous at first but she made me feel right at ease and paused along the way to ask if I had any questions. By the end of my 4th appointment I felt like I was just catching up with a friend! I learned so much about plantar fasciitis and I was back in the gym walking on incline comfortably in hardly no time at all.I also saw Jonathan Vu to go over exercises during treatment. He helped me so much! I liked that we went over the exercises in person and he made sure I was doing them correctly. “I went here two appointments ago complaining of back, hip, and foot pain. The staff is amazing. During my appointment he was thorough with asking me about my pain and made sure to get all scans of me. After he got them back he brought me to the office to go over them and allowed me to ask all the questions I needed to. Then made sure I understood and that my husband understood. During him readjusting me every step of the way he would explain and asked for my pain level. I am already feeling better than I did two weeks ago. “In 2022, I was medically confirmed by a doctor that I had curvature in my spine scoliosis. At the time I was 29 and I am 6' 1", so I have potential back problems as I get older. I went to one chiropractor first who practiced a different adjustment methodology. I wasn't a fan of his treatment plan or the cost. I left that practice more anxious than relief. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and I was familiar with the Gonstead method from Chiropractic Youtube videos. I scheduled an appointment, explained to Dr. Lut my spinal issues. He performs a preliminary X-ray of your spine and posture so he can thoroughly analyze it to come up with a solid game plan of treatment. Let me tell you this, I had a 25 degree curvature and through consecutive treatments for 3-4 months we got it down to 20 or 21 degrees. He is a dedicated and talented Chiropractor, I cannot begin to say enough good things about his professionalism, compassion, and skill. I had injured myself during exercise and locked up some area in my spine and I was in so much pain for a few days. After 2 sessions, he got the area corrected and I cannot express how much of the relief I felt afterwards. Recently, I missed a step while walking down some stairs and landed awkwardly on my left foot spraining it considerably. After I got the swelling down, he examined the foot and adjusted the joints to get it back to correct placement. I work a corporate office job so I am constantly in a office chair. Not good for the back, I know. I regularly visit him 2-3 weeks at a time for a regular adjustment because maintenance of the body is key to keeping from things getting dangerously worse. Dr. Lut doesn't give a one size fits all treatment plan, he X-rays your spine, obtains information from his patients, and analyzes all variables to create the best treatment plan he believes that will be in your benefit. “Update - The office has since worked with me to resolved the issue. I would recommend them as they ultimately did what was right be their patient. I called in to the Keller office asking for an annual checkup. My doctor was at another location so the receptionist said she would schedule my annual checkup with Dr. Byarlay. While the experience with the Doctor himself was good, a month later I get a bill and see they did not bill my insurance for an annual checkup but an outpatient visit so the bill is $205 instead of free. I'm not concerned, mistakes happen, so I called to make them aware of the mistake. The receptionist proceeds to blatantly lie and claim she never agreed to schedule me for an annual checkup and won't send a corrected code to my insurance company. I would not have agreed to visit another doctor if I had known they would charge $205 for a visit which would have been completely covered by my insurance otherwise. I recommend staying away from this business. It is fine to make mistakes but it says a lot about the business when they refuse to make matters right by the patient.“
