He looks at all of us as his family but still pushes his students hard so that they can be the best martial artists they can be. My son has been going here for 4 years and loves it. “My daughter trained with Coach Hrbek for over a year at the dojo, I would love to say hands down one of the best coaches ever. He is great with kids and his teaching methods are really good, he makes sure kids understand and teaches lots of great techniques. When we relocated to Dallas, we put her in another dojo, but she was invisible among 100 other kids, but at Universal she got her attention and training. Also, she got to train with the national and Olympic level athletes. I miss the dojo and coach Hrbek.“

The instructor, Nameer Kirma, establishes a welcoming environment for the classes, which slowly build the flexibility, skills, and mindset to practice Tai Chi. The class encompasses both experienced and novice students, with each group working on building skills at their current level of training. Nameer helps each individual refine their movements with clear explanations and demonstrations. He is very patient!“
