I've lived in the Austin area for 18 yrs now, and have had my share of braiding stylists. These ladies, by far, take the cake. My primary stylist, Dorcas, was very meticulous and gave me the perfect wedding hair. Extra bonus, my scalp isn't sensitive or sore whatsoever. Never had this happen before either. I've never been more impressed with my hair than I am now. If I ever need braiding services again, it will be here. They're on time (even though I wasn't?), professional, very nice and accommodating. The owner even offered to come in Sunday night (when they're not open) to style my hair so it'd be fresh for my wedding on Monday. That's what I call going above and beyond!

I was extremely blown away by the products she uses to wash, install and care for your lashes. I have been looking for a really professional lash tech and I have found my match! This place is must for ladies who are wanting to get a great reliable set with clean practices. The location is good and her facility is very comfortable. Air purifier, clean room everything is great about SoRo Beauty! I have been happy with my set and am coming back for lash fills. I opted for a volume look for a special event I am attending but she can do cat eye, volume, hybrid, natural look and anything in between!
Absolutely amazing experience!! Lola did such a good job on my nephews long curly hair. Really listened and walked through ideas with him then made it come to life. Also gave us good tips for upkeeping it! Then Skyy did a boys cut on my youngest nephew and fixed the absolute chaos that it was. Extremely happy and cannot wait to go back for mine!

I have been getting my hair braided for years by different people. I moved to the area over a year ago and was blessed to find Henry! Henry has been the absolutely best braider I’ve ever had. Friendly, professional and gifted! My hair is always finished in 3 hours or less!!!! I’m talking about a head full of twist or box braids down my back.
I had severe hair damage from a weft hairdo and Henry has grown my hair back even healthier than before.

Dezzray is amazing and takes the time to talk through exactly what I’m looking to get done to my hair. She will always provide her professional opinion on what will be a good hair solution based on my goals and maintenance routine. I also appreciate that she always gives me a rundown of exactly what I should expect prior to performing services (regarding both what my hair will look like and how much everything will cost). I recently got my haircut, and I must say, this stylist is the best for Indian hair! He understand the unique texture and volume of Indian hair and know exactly how to cut and style it perfectly. The attention to detail and the final look exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for anyone with Indian hair looking for an expert touch!

My boys have been going to the same barber since they were born (2007,2011,2015). Unfortunately our barber retired and we were forced to search for a new barber. We tried Matthew also known as KutzNxtDoor and we found our new barber! I mentioned to Matthew that I have an autistic son who is sensitive to the loud noise (clippers). Each time I’ve visited Austin, I’ve stopped to see Mike. His experience in cosmetology as well as being a talented barber is rare to find now-a-days in my opinion. Almost every single barber I’ve had, always has issues cutting my straight hair and looks choppy. Mike, delivers every time and I’m relieved to have a barber around the corner when I move to Austin full time.

Stylist: Kendall was my stylist and she made the entire process exceptionally fun and comforting.
I am a long haired guy that didn't have a trim in almost 7 years. Typical guy behaviour. :-). Kendall explained the entire process before beginning and that put me at ease.
After the trim, she did a fantastic job styling my hair and even gave me samples of the hair gel, conditioner and shampoo.

I have used Amber for YEARS for my permanent eye liner and brows. Her professionalism and humor make you feel at ease, but her product speaks for itself. The healing process after has never looked like what other’s have described, it seemed easier: I followed her directions carefully and have never experienced flaking and the color has only very slightly faded before coming through fully. Amber’s lines are precise and she does a fantastic job customizing each job to the customer’s face. Highly recommend!

I have been getting Brazilians for years now and I most say this was the least pain free Brazilian I've ever had.Due to the fact that I have been doing waxing for so long sometimes I try different techniques too so I've also tried soft wax with strips and at least 10 maybe 12 other estheticians and Natalie is now rated as numero uno!It's not just the type of wax that she uses that makes a difference it's her techniques and how gently she applies the wax as well.Some estheticians apply too much force when applying the wax and that can leave you sore upon leaving and cause more ingrown hairs.Not Natalie!She has the right touch for the job.I am so serious make your appointment now.You will not be dissapointed.

This was my first time getting waxed in quite a long time, and it was great! Johanna was so sweet and kind, which was great for being nervous about a Brazilian! I was a little jumpy, but thats more me than her. She was gentle, thorough, and made absolutely sure that I was happy with my results. Works quickly, but doesn't sacrifice the quality of her work in the process. Very clean and sanitary, used a new spatula for every strip of wax she used. She also opts to forgo using muslin strips, which this hippie tree-hugger loves. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Johanna!

I really cannot find a negative thing to say or write about this salon. Great birthday celebration in Spa Kalahari. Very professional and friendly people. Great selection of tea with the proper kettle temperature in the relaxation lounge area. I purchased the day spa access since there was no more spot for me. Discounted if after 3pm. It was on a Sunday when we came. I like the showers, quiet Lounge and the hot tub/dry and steam sauna area---you can order drinks in this area. Convenient to have all your orders get paid when you check out. There was a pool outside but I didn't try it out. Lovely time with the ladies. The area is coed but we have separate shower/bath rooms. Parking gets validated as part of the group perks. Recommended

Chemaine is an incredible lash artist! I've tried several other lash artists in the area and C.B. Lash is definitely the best lash studio. My lash retention is great and she NEVER burns my eyes with the glue like other lash artists have. My lashes look incredible but not too "fake." I often get asked, "Do you have eyelash extensions?" because they look so natural yet dramatic. Scheduling online is easy and it's convenient to book ahead. Highly recommend!!!

Accidentally found Truc while I was getting my lashes done. And Eureka! I now found my go-to hairstylist! Truc is an absolute gem and I’m really happy with my haircut and style. 100% recommend.
I've never felt more confident than on my wedding day when Sharon did my makeup! She has this incredible talent for enhancing my natural features - making me look like myself but with that extra touch of elegance.
Just what I was going for! :) The makeup wasn't overdone—it was perfect and it stayed flawless throughout the entire night and into the after party.

Matt is so talented. I gave him so many different ideas of things I wanted from bluebonnets to hello kitty to mermaid stuff to Chanel and Texas and he really made it all fit together so perfectly. He also does really great cover up work if you need that done. I was able to tell him my ideas and he was able to make them come to life. I am always getting compliments on my tattoos! And I always send everyone to Matt. Go see him you will not be disappointed!

Rudy "Rooster" was incredibly patient with me. This was my first tattoo, and he walked me through every step. He was very pleasant to talk to, kept the conversation light and distracting from the initial pain to the point I didn't even feel the tattoo gun. I'm very impressed by not only him, but the entire staff--never once felt like a fish out of water, never felt looked down on for being a newbie--just really liked the artists and their personalities. If I choose to have another tattoo done, 100% I will be going back there. It felt safe, fun, and was educational. I literally felt NO pressure to "settle" or "go big." Instead, Rudy gave me gentle yet realistic expectations and I felt fortunate to have an experienced artist letting me know what would look good and what would.

Crow's has always been very fast to respond and their work is neat. They take time to answer all of my questions before leaving the house. In this case, a problem popped up right as the plumber was leaving but he turned around and fixed it immediately. Will use again in the future.

Came home from a long weekend to a leaking water heater and I have no clue how to fix it. My wife went to social media and was referred to Austin Area Plumbing. I called them up and they were able to come out the following day. I did try calling the plumbers that originally worked on our house but they couldn’t come out for 2 or 3 days later. Garrett showed up from AAP the next day and was really nice and explained what he had to do, he was to replace the leaking expansion tank. I can’t express how nice Garrettt was and he also fixed the angle of the expansion tank which was hitting the wall next to the water heater.. We will definitely call AAP for future plumbing issues.
I heard about Aloha through a recommendation from another service company. I was looking for an electric tankless hot water heater flush and what I got was much more. I have already used them for another service after the original one. Jerred's work was professional and thorough. He was even willing to walk me through the process so I can do it myself at a later time vs. asking for more service for his business. We had stellar plumbing replace our broken water heater after the great freeze of Texas. I found out our water heater broke on Sunday and I had a working brand new water heater by Monday afternoon. They hauled away the trash, communicated exceptionally well and got the new unit up in record time. I was so pleased with their business that I had them install a water softener the following week. I can’t thank them enough for getting my hot water back so quickly after that terrible freeze. Will be using this service from now on. My new go-to for sure.
Excellent customer service by Chris and Mike. Contacted Chris very late regarding my leaking water heater. He responded quickly providing a quick fix so that there would not be any damage from the leak. This is the second time we have used Matt, and we're glad we did. We had a large building fire (4 units) and needed a lot of work to be done and upgraded to current codes. As in the past, Matt was responsive, professional, and detailed in his timely bid. His electricians were friendly and hard-working. Matt's knowledge of the City's current electrical code requirements was extremely helpful in getting the 4 units through electrical inspections without a hitch. His attention to detail really made a difference. Though clearly very busy with other jobs, he was able to meet our timeline to get our tenants back in their flats. His pricing, though not inexpensive, was fair and reasonable for a job well done.
Tito is very knowledgeable in Solar and did the job that we discussed and agreed upon. He installed a combiner box and moved the previous Solar installers ‘ugly’ conduit work-which wasn’t needed. Tito’s work is clean and now my house looks as it did when I bought it. Reasonable prices for the services provided. Called many electrical companies and none had any solar knowledge or experience. Will use Tito again for my electrical needs. I highly recommend this young man, now a days trust is crucial and Tito provides.
We had an issue with our Breaker box and our technician Joe LaCombe did a great job of explaining the issue and conducting an electrical safety inspection of our home which pointed out issues which needed to be addressed. my cleaning was awful I have filed complaints with the better business bureau, and will be posting to Google and seven on your side (local news) for the 2nd time my cleaners were either late (1st time they didn't show up at all until a day later after I paid sitters to have the home empty for them) or this time 4 hours early when I was very clear I work from home. I eventually gave up and let them come 1.5 hours early and rescheduled work calls. now on to the clean. to put it simply nearly nothing was complete. I send an 13 item bullet list to the manager along with 17 photos. appliance tops not touched windowsills left with dust and dead bugs Windows behind couches not touched Master shower left with dirt and hair in it end tables left with dust and drink rings completely visible. baseboards untouched. I am happy to send anyone the full list who wants to see it then the manager admitted things were not done but couldn't issue a refund because the "clean was done" the clean was alot of things but done was not one of them. I messaged back asking for a resolution and was ghosted. stay as far away as possible from this service. I will be charging back my card this week.

This company handles the pest control at my apartment complex, Tramor Oak Run and they’re basically just trap setters. We’ve had rodents in our apartment for the entire two years we’ve lived here because all they do is set traps and sometimes they catch one but it does nothing to solve the problem. I always ask them if they can find out how the rodents are getting in and start there but they basically just shrug their shoulders. I even show them spots where I think they could be getting in but they never do anything about it, they just set traps
Update: The new technician they sent handled the problem and got us rodent free for the first time since moving in. Can’t remember his name but he was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The complete opposite of the techs they sent in the past. Changed my review to 5 stars

Awesome company! Super great at communicating with me. And the scheduling was a breeze and quick! Chaz was super smart and told me what most of my accidental trees were (I inherited a fence line full of trees when I bought my house) but my main problem was a 30-40 foot hackberry hanging over my power/cable lines. When Roy and his crew came out they were so nice and got up in the tree quick and started getting the branches down. We couldn’t look away it was fascinating to watch! I don’t typically recommend companies to my job but I sent their info to my bosses to use A Good Morning Tree Service when we need them. Hopefully, we can build a good working relationship because I have so many more trees that need help. :)

Dr. Gaddy was recommended to me by a friend after my dentist retired. I have never looked back. Great staff. They not only do everything to make sure you are comfortable, but to make sure you understand what's going on in your mouth. Although I have been chastised about my flossing, it was gentle enough to teach me the importance of good dental hygiene. Since this is going where every one in the office can see.... Yes Dr. Gaddy, I am flossing on a regular basis - back and front of every tooth. Good technology in the office but also they have better people. Go and you will be happy.
P.S. Also, they don't sit there and try to upsell you on every new thing, though they have access to it all.

We love Dr. Gardner! We take our entire family and she is fantastic with our toddler and baby girl. We absolutely trust her and the results speak for themselves. She is our go-to when our kiddo has ear infections and we have not had to resort to antibiotics since seeing her for these. Within 2 days of seeing Dr. Gardner, our 3.5 month old is having more frequent BM's (this has been a huge problem since she was 3 weeks old) and moving her head side to side with ease and contentment. I visited Round Rock Animal Hospital yesterday for my dog's chronic coughing and current respiratory issues. Dr. McConkey was so kind and careful with my very anxious dog, and I really appreciated that he listened to my concerns and wasn't rushing me out, which happens so often at doctor offices these days. He gave me some options, and even checked on some specialist costs for me. I was also surprised at the cost of the entire visit--it was much less than I was expecting. I also love that RRAH is so close to my home. Highly recommended!

My dog went in for an X-ray. Overall the staff was friendly from check-in to check out. I had a few follow up questions when I went to pick up my dog. The front desk called the doctor and she came out in a relatively short time. I didn't realize until after I got home that the doctor answering my questions was the owner. Anyway, she answered what I needed to know then I was on my way.

I was gifted the opportunity by my husband to do a drop in of this yoga meditation class and i was beyond grateful and impressed!! First time trying any form of yoga, I’m also 31 weeks pregnant and Jessica is the instructor and she was the sweetest and most caring person! She accommodated me when necessary during the class and made sure i was comfortable!! I will definitely be returning this was much needed for my mental and some alone ME time!!! Thanks to husband for the set up and execution and thanks to Jessica and her team Amanda for caring genuinely!!

I was very hesitant to join but so happy I did! I really love this place- super clean and all the machines work properly. I have had the misfortune to work out on broken machines in other locations but this one is by far my favorite! Morgan goes above and beyond and was very up front about the contract/ cancellation policy and answered all my questions.Perfect place if you need to get a couple quick 15 minute workouts in a day for a big calorie burn! Love it!!

Priscilla not only listened to my needs and concerns, she did exactly what I asked her to do. I prefer a very therapeutic deep tissue massage, and that is what I got. BOOK WITH PRISCILLA!

Finding Moench has been a game changer. And Diana has been amazing at helping me through my pain journey. She really listens and works to pinpoint causes of the pain. These treatments are not for the faint of heart but they're working, and I'm more hopeful than ever that I can eliminate or significantly lessen my pain long term and put off or avoid surgery altogether.
One of the best massages I've ever had, and one of the cheapest. Deanna did great. She actually massages the full 90 minutes, instead of like most places that include your consultation and dressing time in with the 90 minutes, so that was really nice. You could feel the love and care in her touch, which was really nice too. You could tell she wasn't just going through the motions. The draping wasn't totally proper so if you're shy, just know you might feel a breeze where you shouldn't lol. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back!
I will say that coming to Amber for my post surgery massages has been a game changer. After getting surgery with Dr. Jung (Jung Money) I visited 7 places in San Antonio to continue my post recovery lymphatic massages and I was so disappointed with every place I went. After contacting Dr. Jung, he recommended Amber. It came to see her and my results have been amazing! I’m willing to drive from San Antonio to see her because she is truly the best! I came to her East Austin Location so is easy access to the freeway. I would recommend her work to anyone! Her place is clean and welcoming, so relaxing and she has all the equipment to make a post Op person be comfortable for massages. She uses different techniques depending on what she determines you need. She is amazing!!! So glad I found her!

I came here to see if someone could un-freeze a shoulder that's been limited for years from bursitis. I saw Jeanettte B, who knew exactly how to fix it. She's done what chiropracters, LMP's, Rheumatologists, and phyisical therapists failed to do. She also makes me laugh while she's doing it. If you're stiff or sore and you're anywhere near Round Rock, see Jeanette. You'll be glad you did!

I absolutely love Amanda’s professional massages! She’s so intuitive and her years of knowledge really shows in her technique. She listens and cares about what YOU actually want from your session. She does a thorough intake at the beginning of the massage and gives you time to get comfortable. She has a radiating energy as soon as you meet her. Great pricing and location! I’ll never see anyone else, I’ll continue going to her for as long as she practices.

Being in the medical field, it is honestly hard to come by great providers. Reavis Rehab is hands down one of the best rehab facilities I know about. My son has seen Becca mainly for about a year. We have seen Liz as well, who is just as phenomenal. I go to the back with my son to learn myself what we can do at home. I'm able to hear and see how therapists interact with their patients and everyone is so gentle and kind. Front staff is exponential as well! There was a point in time where we didn't know if insurance was going to cover some sessions and instead of treating us like a cash cow, they were very vocal and helped us find out how to keep our visits covered. 10/10 highly recommended for any age who needs rehab.
Quality of Life savers!! I could barely walk. My 3rd trimester of pregnancy was that rough on me. I genuinely thought this was just going to be my problem to sit with. I've had two appointments now and feel so much better. I can't recommend them enough.
Wow. First time here and, wow. The positive healing calm energy Yvonne has is just awesome. She listened to my issues, she reassured my anxiety, and I then fell asleep in the chair. I am feeling so thankful to have found this place. Can not recommend it more. And the group setting is not weird at all if you're worried about that.
