“The front desk was friendly and accommodating and Dr, Thompson was friendly, he listened and was wonderful with my dog. He sat on the floor with her for most of her exam and she loved him. Dogs are great judges of character. He and the tech who helped (I didn't get his name), were judged A-OK.“
“The vet who operates this office is beyond amazing and kind. She has taken care of all four of my animals. We recently had to make the decision to let our 16 year old dog go to doggy heaven. She was patient and kind throughout the whole process. She spent about an hour just talking with us as we grappled with making the difficult decision. She truly is a rare human. She is not the type to suggest procedures or treatments that are unnecessary in order to make money. She is constantly advocating for both fur baby and parents. I have never met a vet with so much open passion for her job and those she serves. If you view your animals like a family member and not just a pet then I recommend taking them to this location. I went through several vet offices before finding this one and I'm grateful to have found it.“

“Thank you for working with us to take care of our Maxi’s kidney issues. We were at a loss on how to proceed with a realisticly affordable treatment plan faced with our only options which appeared to be to put him down or watch him deteriorate on a daily basis. Medical treatments that is unrealistically out of reach of affordability is the same as no medical at all. You all made it possible to have some hope to maintain our Max without breaking the bank. “I’ve been going to Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital since Dr Reno took over the practice about 10 years ago. Dr Reno has cared for our English and French Bulldogs and given them outstanding care. Our little Frenchie has an on-going medical issue which has been very challenging to diagnose, manage and care for but Dr Reno has been tireless in her pursuit to help her and to offer treatment options. Dr Reno is very knowledgeable, spends as much time as you’d like explaining what’s going on with your pet and truly cares for your pet. Het office staff is friendly and helpful, particularly Rachel. I can not recommend her more. Five stars!“
