“Emergency visit to RUV on Sunday evening with my senior kitty Sophie. She had not eaten or used the litter box in 3 days and was very lethargic. Christina greeted me and kept me informed of the Dr availability. Although the wait was long, Dr. Lemelli did a thorough exam of Sophie and determined she had a UTI. They gave her several antibiotics and referred me to my regular vet for a further check on her kidneys. Everyone here is extremely professional and compassionate and explained everything to me in the process. They even gave me a blanket when I was chilly! I highly recommend this urgent care vet... if you have to wait upon arrival, just be patient... it will be worth it for both you and your pet! Julie S.“

I called this place and the lady on the phone was so nice and said just come in, we will work you in. I was so surprised. They got us back quickly and knew exactly what to do for him. TE sent an employee to the house to help move him into the car and remove once at the vet. Unfortunately, after diagnosis we were unable to save him. “I can’t recommend Dr. Wawak enough! She did an exceptional job with my dog, Oliver, during his neuter surgery. Oliver is usually not very friendly with new people, but he was immediately comfortable with her. The surgery went perfectly, and his recovery was even better. Dr. Wawak took the time to explain everything we needed to do for his aftercare and even followed up with us to check on his progress. His stitches healed flawlessly, and we had no issues at all.

One thing that really stood out was how much she genuinely cared. She offered me the option to schedule Oliver’s surgery on a low-cost day and worked with my budget, which made it clear she was more focused on helping us. Having had other dogs neutered in the past, this was by far the least stressful experience for both us and Oliver.

“We recently had to put our dog down. We moved out to Heath a couple of years ago, and making the drive to Rowlett was a little daunting. With that being said, the service we received when putting our dog down at Premier Vet was 10/10. First off, after calling 4-5 different places, no one would take us in last minute on a Saturday. Premier Vet knew our urgency as I was clearly upset and made it a point to get us in immediately, even though they had ZERO openings. The staff was the most caring staff ever. When we got there, they had a spot set up for my dog with blankets, etc. The doctor did an amazing job dealing with not only my pet but me as well. I have taken my other two dogs here for a couple of years but recently stopped due to the drive. That will no longer be the case. Premier Vet will be the only place I will ever take my dogs from here on out. They are amazing, and I honestly can't say enough about them. I've been to a handful of vets, and you will not beat the staff, the doctors, or the care at Premier Vet. I HIGHLY recommend them. They also sent a letter in the mail giving their condolences after we put our pup down. Good job, Premier Vet! Way to set the highest standard you can. Well done!“

“My Little Krew Krew neededsome attention. Nothing major he just has an ugly dry patch that was beginning to affect him... Dr. Pirrung did a fantastic job of examining my Krew boy... got my Krew Boy squared away... got him on some flea and tick meds, gave him something to help with itching..explained everything to... recommended a medicated shampoo.
