We were not expecting to be in the position of totally renovating our kitchen, but working with Matterhorn definitely made the process easier. It was a difficult time for us, and the people that we worked with were consistently professional and kind. Corey did an outstanding job with our cabinet design and install, and we were very happy with the final result. We would definitely use them again and recommend to others.“

“We have had THA Construction complete two projects for us in the past 6 weeks. Full upstairs bathroom remodel and closing up a tall foyer to add a floor which converted the space into a new upstairs room. Alex was prompt to conduct the estimates, reviewed our home's blueprints and talked thorough the options and limitations present for each project. We were lucky and another client changed their project timeline and they were able to get started within 2 weeks of the estimate. Bathroom: The original bathroom had a very small tub/shower (only 25\\\" wide) that was right next to the toilet with a wall and door dividing the shower/toilet room from the vanity room. The wall between them made the shower and toilet space very cramped. We took everything down the studs, widened the shower to 34\\\" which required moving the toilet plumbing, removed the dividing wall and replaced half the vanity with a huge linen cabinet, added additional ceiling lights, new mirror wired into the wall and custom cut marble for the sink, shower seat and shower ledge/lip. My girls were able to pick out the shower tile and niches for storage. We finished off with new paint and vinyl flooring. Took just over two weeks and my girls love their new bathroom. Foyer Room: THA's engineer came out to assess the materials needed and had to switch gears a bit when they got into the walls to see exactly how the new floor/cieling had to be connected to the existing framing. They built the new floor to seamlessly transition into the upstairs family room. Electrical work was needed to move the light switch from downstairs to the upstairs, we added new outlets to the new upstairs room and new LED cieling lights to the new entry way cieling to ensure the entryway had sufficient lighting. They installed new flooring with a soundproofing barrier (matching the new bathroom flooring) and installed a new light fixture. This project only took a little over a week. Alex and crew were excellent. I highly recommend them.“

Brad is not a general contractor and will not redo major repair, but if you have leaks around openings or roof or any other areas in your house without significant structural damages, Brad will do an excellent job.He is very knowledgeable. “I had Blue Sky design and build some shelves for me back in 2019. These shelves are not shelves. They are art objects. Beautiful design, meticulous construction, and the installation was flawless. I had them build a railing for a loft in my condo---also well-designed and impeccably implemented--and last year, I had Blue Sky put in a new kitchen. The space was tiny, the counters were ancient and unattractive, and I had just bought a new dishwasher that didn't fit. So Ike and the rest of the team designed butcher block counters, installed a new sink, and--through clean design and careful construction---both brightened the space and made it seem much larger. They were respectful and courteous while working here---it was still raging Covid-times and they were always masked and distanced--and they're all good people. (I think they would have finished the project earlier had I not kept getting them into chinwags about music and books and stuff, but they promised a quick turnaround---Ike told me I would be without a sink for a day---and they delivered.)Here's a final testimony to their excellence. I had purchased a filtration device which I hoped could be run through the soap dispenser on the sink. Ike and Colin and Brian had never put one of these in but they promised to give it a shot. It works perfectly, and I noticed later that they didn't charge me for it.High quality work, professional interactions, extremely reasonable prices given the amount of effort and care they put into each project. These guys are all involved in art and music projects on the side, which is common in this town. What is singularly uncommon is the artfulness and passion they bring to their day job. It's not just about the dough for them. They take pride in their work, and it is pride-worthy.Services: General construction“
