Not only did he explain, he actually educated me with the latest eye health recommendations, from diet to blue light...never have I encountered this. My 13 yo boy tagged along. The Dr. not only took the time to engaged my son in conversation, but made it a point to say ' your mom is now 3 lines past perfect, remember that'. “HEIDI is the optician you want to fit you with the perfect color and shape glasses for the shape of your face. I have visited Heidi for 2 sets of glasses in the past couple of years. I tell her I need a pair, reasonably priced, and have no idea what color or shape I should get. Within 2 minutes, she presents me with a couple pairs.... Then continues to present me with more. However, she critiques each pair, telling me if they don't look as good or better than any others before. We narrow it down to 2 pairs, and I still need Heidi to tell me which is best! “Update 11/3. I decided to try the new doctor in the practice, Dr Nader. Our appointment was at 9:15. She arrived in the office at 9:30. She looked at us in the waiting room and said nothing. When she came out to bring us back a few minutes later, she didn’t say a word about the fact that she was late. I know things happen but would have appreciated at least an acknowledgement given that we were missing school and work. I will stick with Dr Rehak in the future.Previous reviewI have been a patient of Dr. Rehak's for over 15 years. I have recommended Colonial Family Eyecare to many friends. My entire family goes here as well. Dr. Rehak takes his time to explain our eye health. He worked with me to find a lasik provider that would be a good fit for me. I never feel rushed in an appointment or while picking out frames. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. Debby is absolutely amazing. She is always patient and friendly. She knows the insurance plans very well and is always helpful navigating the various plans we have been on.“

“Both my mother and I are patients at Phoenixville Eye Care Specialists (PECS). The office is extremely well run. They see you at the appointed time. There is no unnecessary waiting. In-and-out in about an hour. Bravo!! We are patients of Dr Shechter. She is thorough and very professional. Recently my 86-year-old mother became alarmed at a sudden change in vision. Dr Shechter was able to see her immediately! She diagnosed the problem and referred her to a wonderful retina specialist, Dr Saran. The staff at PECS called the specialist on our behalf and secured an appointment for the very next day. How gracious and wonderful!! We always considered Dr Shechter and the staff of PECS to provide 5-star professional service for our routine eye care.
