“Hired Elvis to rescreen our screened in balcony and two patio doors. Guys seemed to work hard but after they were paid $600. and left we noticed one panel ballooning - not tight enough and the two doors frames deformed from the metal screening they used. The doors cannot even close now. When we called Elvis he promised to send them back to fix the problems but after 3 times of not showing, I am writing this review. No ethics in this company. They do not stand by their work.“

“I cannot be more pleased with Dave's work. I had part of my basement sealed ( wall needed work before coated and sealed) before all the heavy rain started about end of June 2020. Still looks great and I know will last. I like his estimates and home repair proposal's. I also had variety chimney work done , very pleased. “Early spring, J.A.M Building and Renovations (JAM) completed our porch addition. Even though JAM seemed to lean more towards interior projects, they were very interested to take on our 28 x 19 a-frame porch.

“David Wickes has done many projects, large and small, around our house. Like many homes in the area, age has caused everything in our house, including floors, walls, and door openings, to go slightly off-kilter. David is always keenly aware of the special issues that an older home presents when repairs or renovations are involved. He replaced our ugly, drafty, metal front door with a beautiful triple pane glass and wood door; he patiently figured out how to hang the new door properly in our slanted door opening. He also replaced a slipshod folding closet door that had been installed during an earlier renovation with a set of bespoke solid wood doors. David seems to take great joy in tracking down the perfect crystal doorknob or time-period appropriate moulding to make our house look its best. (He is also good at reparing damage inflicted on that beautiful moulding by exuberant puppies). I highly recommend David!“

“I've worked with a lot of contractors over the last 25 years on a range of houses and multi-unit properties. My experience with American Home Concepts was one of the very best.

To start, Casey showed up on time and wrote out a meticulously detailed estimate right on the spot. No waiting days or weeks for an estimate. He asked a long serious of questions that helped us identify exactly what we wanted. He made astute suggestions and provided some fresh ideas, but was never upselling. In fact, he probably saved us money with his ideas.

Amazingly, we were able to choose exactly when we wanted the project to start. The crew showed up the day they promised and worked hard every day until it was done. No 'putting a ladder on the job.' There were the usual complications and adjustments, but they got it all done essentially on schedule and, also amazingly, charged exactly what they had estimated.

The crew was quiet, polite, respectful in every way, and did fantastic work. They carefully protected all the work areas and left them clean and without a singe mark or smudge. We barely knew they were around when they were working, and when they were done everything was as clean and cared for as before they arrived. The results were fantastic.

Between the professionalism and consistency they showed at every stage, the quality of the experience from top to bottom, and the value we received for the price, American Home Concepts is my new standard for judging contractors. I can't recommend them highly enough and plan to use them for all my future projects whenever possible.“
