“We took our Papillon Toby to see Dr. Depew. We had been dealing with some kind of autoimmune issue that started in March after having a dental cleaning. Our local vet had been treating him and he was getting better, but still having issues with his skin. Originally we called because his paw pads were bleeding for 3 months until we finally got it under control and they healed by July. So we had pictures and a diary of everything he went thru since March. Although he is much better now, he is still losing hair, and I wanted to get a 2nd opinion. Dr. Depew was so good with him! She spent time with us going over the pictures and his history, and we left there with a positive feeling that he is going to be fine once we wean him off the steroids. She was wonderful along with everyone else we had dealt with at the practice. It took awhile for us to get in, but they did put me on a call list for cancelations, it just never worked with our schedule, but it was well worth the wait. I'm so glad that we took him to PADS, it really gave us peace of mind.“
