Would recommend again!I would recommend anyone getting a roof to put tarps on stuff in your attic. I thought I had a tarp to cover the day before the came out, but didn't have one. Most everything was in bags/bins, but tarps would make cleanup faster.“
“Although I was a little skeptical in the beginning, I have to honestly say as a 35 year contractor in the electrical business Northstar roofing and siding is absolutely accompany worth doing business with.I was a little skeptical at first because their business model is one of a general contractor employing crews that work under their direction.We are extremely pleased with the end results of a fairly complex project. Our project included an entire rip off of our main roof as well as two outline structures. We also replaced all of the gutters all of the skylights and areas of the roof that were visible to the street we upgraded to New steel roofing.Overall, I estimate I spent a bit north of $70,000 with NorthstarSome months later, we had our master bathroom renovated by a different contractor and this contractor chose to vent the bathroom fan by making a hole in our newly installed roof. When we had the 4 inches of rain a few weeks ago I woke to a drip and huge puddle in my brand new new $40,000 bathroom renovation.I really didn’t know where the water was coming in. I called Jeff, the owner of Northstar roofing and regardless that he did not make the penetration nor was the leak his responsibility. He mobilized an entire team, including himself that were at my house on a Saturday at 7:30 in the morning in a rain and wind.Rather than point fingers they took ownership even when they didn’t really have to! the whole crew, including the owner was up on my roof in absolutely terrible conditions fixing the leak caused by the bathroom contractors shoddy work.“

“We couldn't be happier with our experience with MHX Designs and the results. After hail damaged our vinyl siding, MHX replaced it with thin brick that matched the rest of the brick on our house. The craftsmanship was amazing. First, they filled the area with a product called Lacticrete, described to us being similiar to material that would go under the tile of a shower wall. Then they placed individual bricks that were about 1/2 inch thick. Throughout the process Mark was very communicative. Once the project started, it was completed in about one week. The workers were very neat and considerate. We would recommend MHX Designs for any exterior project, including new windows.“

“I have called Joe Cochrane to my home several times over the last 3 years since I bought this house. He has always responded in a timely manner to my phone calls and repair needs. Previous to tornado Ida, he repaired the flashing around my chimney that was allowing water to damage a wall inside the house. He also installed leaf protectors on my drain pipes. After tornado Ida, he answered my call immediately and worked to protect any further damage from occurring and then repaired the roof. “I had Nick and team do my roof this month and they did a fabulous job.I called several places for an estimate, and it was a lot of phone tag with their offices. When I called Expert Roofing & Home Improvements, I spoke to Nick on the phone, and he's the one that came out the next day. He gave me two quotes -- one to do the equivalent of what the other companies had suggested, but at about 20% less; or to do a more extensive roof replacement which was actually what I was really looking for but thought would be too cost prohibitive. To my surprise, Nick's price worked with my budget.Nick and his crew were on top of my roof for two days. They were hardworking and respectful, and got the job down quickly. Nick sent me pictures of the process throughout so I was aware of their progress. “Volpe just put a new shingled roof as well as a stunning metal roof on our 200 yr old farmhouse. The project Consultant Jamie Rickert was beyond amazing. She's extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her work. Project manager Steve Zangari and Jason did a beautiful job on the shingled roof which included some attic beam replacement. Mike Cassidy installed all new gutters on the house and Project manager Dennis Flanagan handled the new metal porch roof.That roof is stunning! Dennis even removed a basketball net that had been cemented into the ground for us! All in all, everyone involved in this project was amazing and went well above and beyond for us!
