Dr. Hartzell is very thorough and compassionate in her exams and surgery. However, I am adding that I think it is time for them to loosen their mask policy. Over this past year I have been seen by many different medical facilities and some places state that it is no longer mandatory to wear a mask. Others state still mandatory, however once inside and in the room with the doctors, they said I could remove my mask. The masks do not prevent the spread of COVID! Being vaccinated doesn’t prevent COVID or stop you from spreading the disease. Can we just get back to living our lives normally again? Plus mask wearing has increased eye infections.

Dr. Rupp is amazing. She cares about you as a person and not just a patient passing through. She was patient and kind with our child. She helped normalize the need to wear glasses. Our child wanted to try contacts and Dr. Rupp affirmed she seemed responsible enough to try them. Going to the eye doctor became a positive experience. Dr. Rupp patiently showed our child how to wear contacts and was positive through the experience. I highly recommend her.

I just an appointment with Hartzell Rupp and I am more than pleased. I am not one for doctors and the waiting is never fun – no matter the doctor. Trust me, I have been to most in the area and this is the best place for patient care.Whenever I am at the office, I am reminded of my first visit 4 years ago. See I have an eye condition called Keratoconus. In the summer of 2007 it was diagnosed although, I have had many eye exams over the years yet no one ever saw this as an issue. The optometrists I visited at the time suggested I had other eye conditions but not Keratconous.
