THE Remodel Group Contractors

“We worked with The Remodel Group (TRG) on the addition of a primary suite (bedroom, bathroom, closet). The project was about 400 sqft in total and expanded our home from a 2/1 to a 3/2. Our experience with TRG was great! From the initial consultations, to the renderings, to breaking ground the TRG team was clear on next steps and what they needed from us. They were transparent on pricing and talked us through options to fit our budget without pushing us. Once we broke ground it was a whirlwind of activity but it didn't feel overwhelming because TRG was great at communication. Their timelines were pretty spot on so we knew what to expect and when and if we had any questions the project manager was just a phone call away. The final addition is amazing! Everything looks and feels so good and we are so glad we did it. People don't believe that we got this done on time and on budget and with no hassles but TRG made it happen. We'd be happy to work with them again.Services: Bathroom remodeling“

Daltile, American Olean, Marazzi Stone & Slab Center Contractors

“Wyatt at Daltile is wonderful!! The showroom is wonderful, clean, and organized. That said, this review is really for the exceptional customer serviced I received from Wyatt! He seems truly happy to help customers, which is a rare find these days. I've been to the showroom 2x and spoken with him on the phone 3x and each time he is consistently helpful, chipper, and kind. He never rolls his eyes or makes you feel stupid for asking questions. Give them a call and ask for Wyatt! He's the best.“

Barker Cabinets, Barker Door, and Barker Modern Contractors

“We are extremely pleased with the Barker Cabinets in our new kitchen. Our last house had cookie cutter cabinets and we did not want that for our next home. So, we decided to go with Barker Cabinets. Boy did they deliver with quality American 3/4" plywood constructed cabinets. The cabinets are solid, well finished and the pieces fit together with a tight fit as everything is cut with a cad/cam machine. In short, we could not be happier.

Barker was there with support from the beginning all the way to completeion. They very helpful in the design phase and answered the myriad of questions we had. More importantly, they helped me avoid a mistake or two in compiling my order. They were there when we experienced a setback due to the shipping company having damaged several pieces during transportation to Florida. Barker stood behind everything 100%! And they were there to expedite both remakes needed for defective pieces and orders for additional items I ordered. I must have corresponded with Clayton in customer service via email dozens of times and he always came through for me. It was clear to me that Clayton and the rest of the team at Barker Cabinets do everything they can to provide top quality cabinets and customer service at a reasonable price. We feel we saved considerably by desgining and ordering our cabinets from Barker as opposed to other quotes we received locally. Note we hired a cabinet person locally to both assemble and install the cabinets.

Some points I'd like to highlight about the cabinets:

The pullout drawer beneath the main kitchen sink is cool.

The automatic trash openers open with a slight touch at the bottom (from your foot) and come in handy when your hands are dirty and you want to throw something away.

The 3-drawer cabinets come in several configurations. For 5 of the 6 3-drawer cabinets in our kitchen, we opted for the version that has a standard 6" top drawer, a 10" middle drawer and a 14" bottom drawer. We love them!

The remaining 3-drawer cabinet in our kitchen has a 6" top drawer, a 6" middle drawer and a 18" bottom drawer. We use this for our pasta maker and blender.

Whereas standard bottom cabinets are 24" deep, all of the bottom cabinets along the walls in our kitchen are 26" deep. With custom cabinets, you can do this. This was initially done to allow ample room for plugs, etc. behind the appliances (especially the refrigerator and freezer) and the fact that the range was a commercial grade and is about 4" deeper than standard. It turns out this was a genious move as the drawer slides come in 3" increments. So, our 26" depth cabinets came with 24" slides whereas standard depth cabinets come with 21" slides. This allows us to fit our pots and pans in one drawer:-)

All Thermador appliances except the ice maker:
36” refrigerator
36” freezer
Built in coffee maker
48” professional free standing range
Triple oven (microwave/oven top, middle oven and bottom warming drawer)

Hood is from Hoodsly. 48” wide, 48” tall with 24” extension. Custom color-sent them sample Barker door and they matched the color. Love the hood. It has excellent lighting and a powerful fan motor.

Attached are pictures and a video of our new kitchen. Hats off to Barker for quality cabinets at a fair price!!“
