He went above and beyond to accommodate our situation as quickly as possible, working around his schedule and even calling a plumber for us when additional work was needed. Steve didn't want to wait and sent someone out right away the next morning to repair. They were here on time, with roofing that matched the color of the stuff we had. Had the roof fixed in only a couple hours. “We first met with Brendan to give us an estimate for a bathroom remodel. Due to our short timeline, we unfortunately had to go with another contractor, who completely botched the job. We found ourselves in the nightmarish situation of halting the job mid-way and having to negotiate for a demo of the existing work and a reinstallation of a shower unit, among other jobs. We remembered that Brendan also works as an advisor on home projects and asked him if he would inspect the work in progress and offer his expert advice on how to proceed. He was a total rockstar and a backbone, advising us and helping us negotiate this conflict with our hired contractors.Thanks to Brendan's support, we stayed sane during the process, and could come with an expert second opinion that made the contracting company have to reassess their work. Not only did we succeed to have them remove their work and buy replacement materials at their own cost, but Brendan also provided step by step instructions of what they had to do to finish the job in a satisfactory way. “PDX Cabinet and Granite was very knowledgeable and responsive. They were easy to communicate with and were very speedy with email exchanges. If you are a “do it yourself” remodel, understand that it’s up to you to check your cabinet build and verify that your cabinets are level and totally ready for install! My four star rating has everything to do with the templating/install process. I wish PDX cabinets had been more explicit with what we needed to do to make sure the counters were supported and leveled before install. Now the counters are in and we are doing some work on the back end to support/level cabinets and this could have been avoided with more information. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this company to savvy home remodel customers.“
