“TLDR; Alex is AMAZING. Recently I went to a popular local salon that's primarily known for its fun fashion colors. That might have been a mistake. After asking for a beige balayage with a shadow root and grey coverage (and showing a picture of what I wanted), I ended up with muddy brown hair with dark grey streaks. I got home (crying) and with many washes managed to get the grey toner out, leaving me with dense streaky orange highlights all over. I started looking for someplace trustworthy to fix my color. After seeing Salon Beck's reviews, I called, and was lucky enough to quickly get an appointment with Alex. Somehow she managed to fix my nightmare stripey hair, and turn it into the lived-in beige balayage I'd wanted from the beginning. If you're looking for that easy, stylish, and better than natural look, I cannot recommend Alex more. I'll absolutely be going back to her in the future. Regarding the location - the salon is classically elegant, and has the most comfortable shampoo chairs I've experienced. As far as accessibility, I'm a size 22, and was able to sit comfortably in both the cutting chair and the shampooing chair.“

“Sandra is amazing. First, I can schedule using the app, and it's SO EASY. I had the same hair person for over 20 years, but since COVID, scheduling has been almost impossible, and texting back and forth didn't work for me. Using the app makes it so easy to make and keep my appointments at times that suit me, and I can make an appointment from the app. in the middle of the night if I suddenly need one.

Next, Sandra is very communicative and takes the time to understand what I want, not assuming I want the same thing every time- you know, I got to change it up now and then!

Then, Sandra understands how my hair works- it's very thin, but I want to grow it out and she's helped enormously. I can't believe how amazing my hair looks and feels! It's been a game changer for me and how I feel about myself. Sandra recommends products that bring results, and isn't just telling me I need cuts or products to make money, she truly wants me to be happy with my hair.

Finally, I can't say enough about how Sandra is a true hair artist - color and cut - when I leave the salon I always feel so good and my hair looks fantastic, in a way I can replicate at home.

Also, the Bobby Pin is the cutest little place, with it's own parking, and it's entertaining to watch the people walk to and from the coffee shop across the street. Go here, you will love it!

Oh yeah - and Sandra's prices are clearly listed on the app, and that's it. She doesn't take tips. You know what you're going to pay, that's it!
