“I was having a thermostat emergency during the coldest week of winter (-35). My thermostat needed to be replaced and since I had called a few HVAC companies and no one was available, I decided to post for help on FB and maybe some amateur handyman would help. I already had purchased the new thermostat.A gentleman named Sheldon responded to my posting and offered to come over right away (dinner time).He arrived at my home within 15 minutes.Sheldon had the thermostat replaced and the furnace tested within 15 minutes.I did not know Sheldon was with SAFFCO Heating, Electrical & Plumbing and he did not mention it. If was obvious he was at my house to do a good deed.But I figured out that he was with SAFFCO Electrical, Heating and Plumbing when I looked out my window and saw his truck. That explained why he was able to install the thermostat in record time! Lol!Sheldon refused to take any payment. Can you believe that? Of course you can! This is Pembroke and there are so many fine, upstanding, caring people in this city.I will be giving SAFFCO my business going forward.
