I recently had the pleasure of hiring the Shock Doctors to install multiple fixtures and outdoor GFI plugs at my home in Toronto, and I couldn't be happier with their work. Jonathan had done excellent work upon a couple of occasions at my parents' cottage in Muskoka. As a result, I felt comfortable having them deal with our elderly house in Toronto with its oddball quirks.
Our house, despite having been upgraded from knob and tube wiring years ago, still posed some unique challenges, (weird wiring shortcuts from previous owners and the like). Furthermore, it is semi-detached as are all the houses in our neighbourhood. We couldn't afford to be slapdash about who we hired because every choice we make, quite literally, affects our neighbours. The reason I hired the Shock Doctors, even though they were situated out of town, is that I had already seen how meticulous they were about safety, and how up-to-minute they were in their knowledge about changes to electrical code.
From the outset, the experience was smooth and professional. Lara made booking easy. Terry visited in advance to provide quotes and discuss placement options, ensuring we were comfortable and informed about the process. The team, which included Jonathan and Terry and a wonderful young apprentice named Zachary, arrived promptly as scheduled. To our great surprise, they completed the job in less than a day—much quicker than anticipated.
I trust the Shock Doctors implicitly, will be using them again, and would happily recommend them to anyone in need of reliable, professional, safety-focused electricians.

I had an appointment recently with the hygienist for a cleaning. Melissa did a good job as always & Dr. Reem came in to take a look & discuss what to do next moving forward. As always my appointment was as comfortable as can be expected when visiting the dentist. Great job all including the receptionist who was very accommodating at looking after me on arrival & booking my next appointment at completion.

I have nothing but praise for Jay who came to service and repair our furnace after a Reliance Home Comfort technician told me that my furnace needed to be replaced due to a faulty heat exchanger. The heat exchanger was not the problem but we had a faulty inducer motor.It's nice to see that there are skilled, knowledgeable and honest people who take pride in their craft.

It's not often that I leave a salon feeling like they have given me exactly what I asked for. I find that many salons "trick" you into extras (like washing your hair, when you've asked for a dry cut) and quoting a lower price only to find out its significantly higher in price when it's all said and done... HOWEVER , I have visited this spa on several occasions and have been 100% satisfied with their services. I've received pedicures, massage and hair cut and set.
The owner is attentive to the clients needs and she has a great group of professionals!
I recommend and will visit this salon/spa again.

Amazing. This company was willing to do the hard honest work without trying to upsell me on a new furnace like other companies. After being quote thousands of dollars, this company sent out a young professional named Bryson, who took the time to properly diagnose and fix my furnace. It was not an easy one as another company before them had made a mistake, but they took their time and only cost me a nominal amount for their time which was money well spent. We just had our entire main floor redone with beautiful hardwood. From starting with choosing the right colour, style and finish with Nicole to the installation with Jim, we could not be happier. Jim moved all the furniture with great care, rescrewed all the sub-floor to repair the squeeking and then carefully laid the flooring. Jim really was the best flooring installer we've ever had. We highly recommend them.

I just recently started seeing Dr. Matheson at his chiropractic clinic in Orillia. I was having persistent knee and SI joint pain. In just several visits my pain is much more managable and I am starting to feel much better. My sleep has improved as well. Thank you to Dr. Matheson, and the entire team.
I have been a believer in Chiropractic treatments since I was a teenager. I have recently moved to Orillia and am so happy to have found Dr Tim and his team at Grace Family Chiropractic. Dr Tim's assessment and treatment plan has been excellent and within the first few treatments, I had feeling back in my upper arms that I haven't had in years (due to a major upper body surgery). I took my 7 month old Chinese crested powder puff to Karryann today for her very first grooming. She was so badly matted from having to wear a surgical onesie for so long. Karryann did an absolutely wonderful job of making her feel comfortable while she cut away all the mats. Maia will definitely be going back there as we work to get her coat where it’s good for both the dogs health and my vision of her. I really appreciated Karryann’s honest input about what was good for Maia even though it meant not getting the look I thought I wanted.

I couldn't be more impressed with the service at Top Knot! The groomers are not only highly skilled but also incredibly gentle and attentive, making sure every detail is perfect. I love that they're a kennel-free salon too, which I think is more ethical (kennels can be a high stressor). It's great for my two nervous dogs. The girls really go out of their way to make the experience as low stress as possible, and I always know that my dogs are going to look their best after leaving Top Knot. Thank you ladies! You always make the experience a great one.
