Had a problem a few week ago and was very happy with all aspects of the service. Unfortunately a week later another problem occurred, as is often the case with an old furnace, you fix one thing only to have something else go. You are then left with two choices, pouring money into an old machine or replacing it, I chose the later. The guys took the time to do it right, and the new furnace looks and runs great! I epically appreciated the peace of mind when talking price with Andrew and his line "that's all in no surprises"
Elyas was very friendly and open. He gave us good advice to help us choose what to do with our yard. He kept us posted with the delay that occurred because of the city. He was up front with it and honest. When we had questions and texted him, he answered almost right away. Once the job started, it took exactly the time he said it was going to be. His team cleaned everything after their job was done and Elyas dropped by to make sure everything was perfect. It turned out more beautiful than what we expected. Honestly a great experience. I came in on a Sunday morning and had my hair cut. I wasn't sure how to cut it exactly, I only knew I wanted a skin fade. The barber offered his opinion on how to trim the top, etc. And the cut turned out perfect.The cut took about 20 mins, enough time to know they're not rushing and not so long you fall asleep in the chair.The vibe was relaxing, calm music was playing appropriately matching the early rising of the day.
The shops’s aesthetics first of all, is wow. Othman is kind and skilled. A true Barbaholic. I'd recommend this barber’s shop to anyone who wants a kingly treatment and a good hair cut all wrapped up in one. It’s a 10 /10 + 10. Excellent!

Visiting Jay is like going to see a great friend! You can tell how loved he is when each client comes in and feels the same way. It’s not a chore to get your scheduled haircut, you can actually relax and have a nice time with each conversation being accompanied by an adorable furry friend (legally allowed!). I schedule my days off to go with my partner for every single one of his haircuts to enjoy his company. The salon is incredibly clean and welcoming. I cannot recommend him enough!

Adil simply provides what is needed: a proper haircut, at a fair price, in a classic manner.
What I value the most? My son is special needs and has taken a while to get used to the idea of a hair cut. Adil has been patient with him all along the process: from where a haircut was practically a "sit on top of him" to the point now where my son happily comes in and says "HI MR ADIL NUMBER FOUR PLEASE" and Adil takes care of the work, and remembers the things that make my son nervous and does them carefully.
If you have a special needs child and have had bad experiences elsewhere? go see Adil, and you and your child will have a lovely experience together.

Great barbershop, good to know that the barbershop atmosphere we all used to go to experience still exists. All staff were very nice, Eddie, in particular gave me nothing short of a great barber shop experience. Stop is kept very clean and tidy, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a barber shop in Barrhaven or anywhere in Ottawa.

Liss is a wonderful, talented and kind hearted nail tech. From the moment I walked in she made sure I was comfortable and felt welcome. She, my husband and I had a lovely conversation the whole time she was doing my nails and she made sure everything turned out perfectly! Her setup is immaculate (very very clean!). Cleanliness: This Salon is always clean and always busy. But they do try to accommodate for walk-ins. The work they do is great! It takes me 45 minutes to get there (there are closer salons) but it is worth every minute of the drive there and back!
Stylist: I have been going to this salon for pedi since before Covid. In the last year I’ve been having manicures as well. I now have nails dipped and am always so pleased with the results. Tina is my go-to technician and she is awesome in so many ways - she knows my preferences and always does a beautiful job plus she is so warm and friendly. Highly recommend. All the ladies there are very friendly and the place is very clean and appointments are always on time.

Zara is very detailed and passionate at what she does. I’ve gotten a lash lift from her a few times and each time my lashes looked amazing. I can go at least a month without wearing mascara because of the high quality product she uses and her skills.

I have been going to Tony for many years. He is an amazing man. Trained as a doctor in China.As well he his Masters and Doctorate in Medicine from China. On top of that he is a a registered massage therapist and acupuncturist (and continues to do extra courses). I have sent at least ten friends to him with a variety of often long term injuries, all with wonderful results. If he can't cure you , nobody can. I have had excellent results with Tony using deep tissue massage but also had wonderful results with acupuncture. One day I slipped on the stairs, sprained my ankle very badly. With acupuncture I was easily walking 10 km in a week's time. I have been to him for acupuncture for a number of injuries, insomnia and Seasonal Affective Disorder.I highly recommend him in all ways.

I started visiting Bernadett for Botox about 5 years ago and was so pleased with those results I decided to try some of her other services. The results from the laser treatment for sun damage was absolutely amazing. She removed years off my skin and I now feel comfortable wearing little to no makeup. Currently, I am doing a series of chemical peels and loving those results also. The care, attention and time she spends with you as a client is rare these days. I highly recommend Bernadett!

Huntley Plumbing completed the 2 phases of our large 4 unit build in Westboro and even came to our country home 2 hours away. We had Ottawa Diamond Flooring install carpets in the upstairs part of our house and a flight of stairs the previous November. Salesperson Rob very nicely showed us the options in a conversational manner without being pushy. We chose the style we wanted and the installer arrived right on time on the scheduled day and did a great, tidy job. You can tell when someone cares about their work. We love it, looks great and is very comfy underfoot.

They have good customer service and delivery service. Unlike other hardwood store will need 4-6 weeks to order and ship to here. We had a flood caused by a condo unit above. Our insurance company sent in their local project manager and they estimated that we would have to be our of our condo for 30 days.
I decided to track down the original company that installed the flooring, I had a sample and decided to hire them as they were familiar with the building. They helped source the original flooring vendor.
We moved out on a Sunday night and moved back on the Thursday. Their installers were outstanding and their sales staff (Andy) was a pleasure to work with as was their retail sales manager (Sousan).

We hired Ottawa General Contractors to renovate our main floor. We took down almost all of the inside walls in order to create an open concept and moved the kitchen from one area to another. Our experience with OGC was very smooth and professional from start to finish. All the trades people they hired were very respectful, knowledgeable and efficient. Our project manager (Adam Radmore) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in executing the project. He took the time to answer every question we had and helped us make informed decisions when something would come up by explaining all the different options to us. We had a couple of hiccups come up during the project but he made sure the correct steps were taken to fix the problems. The work done by OGC was very professional and a high quality. I would definitely recommend OGC to anyone looking to do a major renovation in their house.
Last year I had ice damming issues. Had my old insulation removed, attic sealed and new cellulose put in. The home feels much more comfortable. Looking forward to see how well we did in the winter.
Tom Rheaume and The Anything Guys worked on a couple of projects in our basement this Spring and the results, as expected, were excellent. Had Abell here last week to deal with a wasp issue. Tech Neil H. was thorough, friendly, a great communicator, and highly conscientious. I felt like I was speaking to a company owner, with his professionalism. I was surprised to hear that he was an employee. Oh, and the wasps were quickly eliminated.

Definitely call Nate if you have any Pests problems. Nate is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We had a problem with Box Elder Bugs, they are harmless but very annoying and when we asked him he showed up the very next morning to accommodate us! Plus he guarantees their work that if it’s not reduced by 95% after seven days he will come back to spray again. Thank you Nate!

Miguel and his team did an outstanding job on our landscaping. It was completed to a high standard, and they were more than happy accommodating adjustments so it turned out exactly how we wanted.
We have used FM Interlock on multiple occasions each time being the exact same experience - excellent! Franco, John & team have incredible attention to detail and their quality of work is very evident. They have now completed the landscaping and interlock work on our entire property and we couldn't be more pleased. We have also referred them to others with great success. In Ottawa, you need to look hard for high quality trades. This is definitely one of the best.

Took my maltese pup to underdog today. This is his 5th grooming appt. ( I took him to other grooming salon) He has never looked so well groomed. I know he is a pup
She was so nice and kind to our boy. Our boy felt so comfortable in her work space and allowed her to cut his nails. We have found our new spot for him to be groomed safely and happily.

My dog Cookie has been going to Uptown Pet Grooming for years. It took a few tries to nail a perfect look for my Cookie, but once it was down, Cookie always comes out of the groomer’s looking and smelling absolutely perfect to me! Cookie is an anxious dog, but since going to Uptown she has learned to not only be comfortable with Laurie and Ellen, but slowly warm up to the other dogs being groomed there. It speaks volumes to me about Laurie and Ellen’s care when Cookie comes out of the groomer’s excited.Laurie and Ellen are absolute stars, and though they are very busy, will always try to accommodate. If you also want to switch up your dog’s look, they will try to see what’s best and recommend any cuts that they think might look good.Cannot recommend this place enough!

Saw Nancy Kahl today for a massage to help with back pain. She is so lovely and knowledgeable! She started and finished with a scan of my range of motion which I’ve never had a RMT do before. Her technique was gentle enough that I wasn’t just in pain for an hour but also effective enough for loosening up the tightness in my muscles. She made me feel super comfortable through the entire process and also suggested some stretches and movements to add to my workouts. The clinic is clean and scheduling was convenient and easy with lots of availability. Very happy to have found Nancy and this clinic!

I had a great experience Dr Andrew Stuart and Vatsal Shah!I broke my arm quite badly skiing Dr Stuart operated on me and installed a plate. Surgery went really smoothly and my arm was already feeling semi-functional a couple days after the surgery. Haven't had any issues at all during recovery!Vatsal helped with Physio for my recovery. He taught me many different exercises and we focused on recovering my full range of motion (which we've basically achieved!). Vatsal pushed me and the stretches and exercises were useful, but I always felt quite comfortable.Wouldn't recommend breaking a bone -- but would recommend Ottawa Orthopaedic Centre if you do!
My experience with Harmony physiotherapy was excellent. Richa is professional, knowledgeable and took time to understand my needs. The treatment was effective and I noticed improvement after just a few sessions. Her guidance was always clear and helpful. I highly recommend it!
